why use this? I can do it just as fast with a hack saw and no burrs' as well

yea, my company got two of these, they work good for about a month, till the cutting dies get dull.

@ptrnorth mcc brand cutters and dies that argco sells are far superior to other imports . these dies last for thousands of cuts and are reversible just turn them over and keep cutting. Only argco sells reversible threaded rod cutting dies.
