I was really surprised with the graphics of this game, especially considering it was on the Genesis. The types of effects seen Contra: Hard Corps were usually seen on the SNES.

lol once when i played, i jumped over one of those charging ostrich alien things, and it ran into another one charging from the opposite direction. then it ended up in the other ones mouth and it started eating it. lol so weird...
