  • and my name is john jacob jingleheimer schmidt.

Please. He wants the "spread the wealth around". That is the essence of socialism. Group ownership. State control.

  • You shouldn't even pretend to know what you are talking about. Firstly, I'm not a republican, that is your assumption. Secondly I am not calling the reagan preceding communists. FDR, and LBJ were big time socialists, and have hurt our nation severely. I used to be a republican until bush turned out to be a socialist. Also, 100% capitalist means no govt intervention. Anarchist means no govt, you moron. Your words are a beacon of your stupidity. Get educated... try autodidacticism.

  • Socialism is a doctrine of group ownership, and govt control, something you dont understand. FDR prolonged the great depression by draining the currency, and making it illegal to trade in gold. Capitalism is an economic system free of govt. Once again you wrong. Bush exercised his socialist policies by extending medicare coverage, which skyrocked the cost of prescription drugs. FDR is in fact one of the worst presidents of all time. What could have been a two year depression was 10 years long.

  • Bush also created all of these bailout plans. Plans which hurt the nation, and prolong the recession, and could possibly thrust us into a depression. Bush has a long history of socialist policies. The depression could have been over in a matter of months, not a decade. What is your point of reference. Roosevelt took everyone's gold, and squandered it, and the only thing he ever did to get us out of the depression, is purposely get us into ww2. The war ended the depression, not Roosevelt.

  • He caused pearl harbor, intentionally. He ordered his admirals to put the entire navy in one spot. What sane sailor would do that. He was desperate to get into the war, because his new deal was not working. He sent the irs to gather the nation's gold, and exchange it for worthless fiat money. FDR believe it or not was not the great president public schools would tell you he was. We need to be more capitalist, because a govt controlled economy is obviously not working.

  • you do not understand how today's housing/credit crisis was started. When democrats took control in congress, the wanted to enact their super save the world plans, and urged mortgage lenders to approve subprime loans to questionable clients. This would never happen, if the govt had stayed out, because what sane loan officer would loan to somebody with no assets. These loans were supposed to be backed by freddie, and fannie, but under the watchful eye of Barney Frank(D), they failed too.

  • And yes, fdr's programs are hemorrhaging money today. Which is a travesty. He once tried to change thanksgiving day. What business did he have doing that. He was a mucker. He was spreading shit, because he thought it was fun. Certainly doing more than any other president does not make him good.

  • Comment removed

  • Im sorry, but it's true. He did obscenely stupid things for no reason. He was a genuine son of a bitch. Where do you propose we find this money to fund his programs. Obama can't be stupid enough to raise taxes at a time like this. Or maybe he can be that stupid, after all he did back Blagojavic.

  • Well, you know im right, btw im not going to read all of your comments. Im dyslexic, and it could take all night. At any rate you're probably not from Illinois, so you dont know the political histories of these two men. In fact, obama championed Blago during his reelection campaign. Blago is recorded calling obama a motherfucker, because he didnt bid on the senate seat. Obama knew all about the deal, and if we're lucky, he'll go to jail too, and daily, and all those sonsabitches.

  • Comment removed

  • I'm sorry, but it's recorded on phone tap. Obama did know about this incident, it was his senate seat after all. That's IL politics for you.

  • Comment removed

  • You moron. Firstly im not a republican. Secondly, FDR used his power of admiralty to order the entire navy into pearl harbor. Any admiral who disagreed was fired immediately. He created an enticing target for the japs, because he was eager to get into the war. Thirdly, the republicans tried to use corporate welfare, just like today to alleviate the depression, which did not work, just like today. They did believe in interference.

  • Comment removed

  • Personally, i like bush, the hairstyle not the president, but that is a matter of preference. If you think FDR sent the navy to hawaii to defend the harbor, then the ships should have been at sea, staffed, and heavily armed. Not clusterfucked in a cul de sac. He made pearl harbor an excellent target. Otherwise they probably would have attacked dutch harbor during winter a time when ships cant move easily. Japan was already at war with china btw.

  • The 9/11 conspiracy is bs from the start, because it lacks a cogent motive. Facts: FDR wanted to go to war, he was a socialist, his new deal prolonged the depression, he started a spending trend which has severely hampered the nation's security. I cannot find one thing I like about that man, please give me something to work with.

  • Comment removed

  • Okay, whatever, if you can't accept that he was a socialist, not perhaps to the level of lbj, I cant help you. You've been brainwashed into thinking he was this great guy. He wasnt. He screwed around with the economy, and america has the scars to show it.

  • Comment removed

  • How do you expect we fund these social programs?

BTW, we didn't exit the depression because of FDR, he did nothing to "get things done". The only thing he did to get us out of the depression was to put money back into the system which should never have been taken out of the system in the first place, and get into the war. I'm sorry but you dont know what you're talking about.

  • Comment removed

  • What's obama's plan, or are you just some blind follower. Is he going to print more money, and inflate the dollar? We should be trading in silver anyway, but I dont expect you to understand currency.

You're telling me FDR built this country into a service economy destined for collapse. If so, he is truly the worst president of all time. His policies are complete failures, and any recovery of the economy is of it's own volition, and cannot be attributed to his massive debt growing hollow jobs.

  • I "L M A O" again.

  • That's alright... nobody cares about Florida anyway.

  • Frank should be back on MADtv again...

  • I love Frank Caliendo.

You know I've heard interviews with him before where he openly admitted to being Republican. Here he hedged his bets a lot more. I suspect he's gotten good at reading the climate and didn't want to risk alienating anyone by taking a side.

Which is probably the smartest move for an entertainer.

  • Hmm, interesting. I have watched many interviews but never heard that.

  • It was an interview for XM radio's "clean" comedy channel a few years ago. He was jokey about it: "Yeah, I voted for Bush - 8 times in Ohio" or saying he just did it to keep using the impression. But it was pretty clear.

  • I read an interview with Frank a couple years ago where the journalist said that Frank was a minority---a Republican comedian.

  • Boom! Put it in, take it out, we're done!

  • As opposed to a politician, whose best move is to take every side :p

  • MAD TV

  • HAHAHAHA Thanks viper999999999!
