I purchased an eclipse hp-cs today at my local hobby store. I am new to airbrushing and am planning on using it for my modeling hobby. When I push down on the dual action trigger, paint comes out when only air should be coming out. I have not taken the brush apart yet, is the needle not far enough forward? is the paint too thin? I am using it at around 20 psi. Thank you.
Hello, other than this, I cant find any videos related to the Iwata HP-CS (Eclipse), can you upload any video using this model?, any test on shirts, bodypainting or car tuning?.
if it doesn't seal than when you push down on the trigger you'll have paint spraying, not a good thing (push down without pulling back for paint)
Just insert the needle and seat it in the nozzle by gently pushing it into the nozzle, key work gently. As I said if its not seated correctly you'll get paint when you don't want it.
Thanks a lot for the vids. They are very helpful to beginners like me.
I do have one question. Is there a difference between the Iwata HP-CS and the Iwata Eclipse HP-CS? I am confused as to what the "Eclipse" difference is.
how to clean

when you insert back the needle, does it have to slightlty hit the noozle tip?, does the noozle hole has to look "sealed" by the needle?

Super Lube not super glue. Super Lube you can purchase from any retailer selling Iwata products.
