Tweaking Acrobat PDF Adobe Reader

How do I get my computer to read anything PDF, I have installed the latest version Adobe Reader and it still says I am missing plugins?

I use document reader on ubuntu linux.... it comes preinstalled and works with EVERYTHING! much better than that crap they are talkin bout lol

"print as image" does not work while using the adobe reader, atleast for me it didn't. but when you install the foxit program, printing pdf files work perfect. thanks

I have trouble installing it...

I install it get's to 99.90% and windows every tiem it get's to that exact amount says, it's not responding and that it was an appcrash...

it never crashes, it happens every time at that exact point...!!!

someone please help me!!! :(

Acrobats version 6 and 7 had problems printing from Macs. Version 8 works fine for me on my Intel Mac, as did printing as image in previous versions on my G4 Powerbook. I just wish that Reader would open with bookmarks on a Mac if the doc properties are set to do that. It would also be nice if it were possible to tweak reader so that it opened in a predictable way every time.

Adobe Reader is bloatware now... get 'Sumatra PDF'...it opens stuff much faster, doesn't take up as much room, and doesn't nag you to update it everytime you open it.
