A lot of us have super hurty feet because the metatarsal arch collapses; If your toe knuckles hit the floor or bottom of your shoe and feel bruised you need a different pad. Google or Wiki "metatarsal arch". No, it's not the big arch, but no room to explain.
heya, they all say shoe size from 6-10, so im guessing theyre on the large size. im only a size 4-5. are there any to fit those sizes or can you just cut them??
hey please tell me where you got your watch from!? it looks so beautiful!! please i need to know it! and i like your video and the tips. and i love the handbag!! i think its the perfect bag. but I dont have the money for it :(
I've never tried those Payless pads before, but I really should if you use them for all of your shoes! This is sorta similar, but do you have any tips for when you buy shoes a size up or if your feet are too wide? I've tried Aldo's pads for like $10 but it hasn't made the 1/2 size difference and my feet still slip out. My friend said something about sticking a bag of water in my shoe and sticking it in the freezer so the ice expands and makes it fit better but I haven't tried it yet..hmm!
Hi Elissa, i'm wondering where you did buy that insoles again? i never see them, i always see the dr schols insoles and usually in clear gels.. My feet always wet whenever using heels that is another reason i never wear heels but i'm craving with heels actually
My friend recently bought some crazy sexy super super high heels I mean I knew we were going to have issues she looked unstable and sure enough fell and broke her ankle...killer shoes :(
I love your shoes! Do you have any tips in walking in heels? My foot always slips out of the shoe, even if its the right size :( I tried those sole inserts but it's not working! help please!
your tips are very helpful! i was debating if i wanted to like 5' in heels to my bf sister wedding since im a bridemaid and i will be alot of walking etc, but now i can pad them so i can wear them all day! thank you <3
HEY IF ANYONES READING THIS ID REALLY APPRECIATE IT IF YOU COULD PLEASE COME CHECK OUT MY CHANNEL AND IF YOU LIKE IT PLEASE SUBSCRIBE IT WOULD MEAN THE ABSOLUTE WORLD TO ME!! ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ஜ۩۞۩ஜ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
it doesnt really add a little extra to your arch.. because its the same thickness alway through the insole.. so therefore it is lifting your foot up evenly thoughout the shoe.
@PINKFOREVA19 yes it does add a little coverage because your pressure is on the toes and heels and not on the middle so that part is always plush and cushiony :) kwim?
Walmart has grips so you won't slip and I get heel grips too. Only $2-3. At Marshalls I got gel Strappies for $2.99 that keep the slingbacks from falling down. No need to spend $20-30.
Hi Elessa! I just want to say THANK YOU for keeping PurseBuzz alive! You are a very talented and beautiful woman! God bless you! I look foward to more videos!
Don't the inserts mean that your shoes are more fitted? Do you still get your normal shoe size or do you go a half-full size up to accommodate the inserts?
I'm in a wedding next weekend and I have to wear slingback, open-toed shoes. The problem is that they keep slipping off in the back. They fit in every other way (the next size down was too small.) Do you have any suggestions on how to fix this? I'm afraid I'm going to trip the whole way down the aisle. I've never once asked this before, but please thumbs up so she can see--I'm getting desperate here!
@faeriefire78 get a thick needle and poke another hole or two if it's those adjustable ones... but most slingbacks are like that. but if thats not the case, then it's really hard =X.
@pursebuzz Thanks for the reply--I think that will be the only solution. @VinzJoker, unfortunately they aren't the adjustable kind. But hope isn't lost! I think I may be able to take the bandage idea and finagle something out of that. Thanks for the help! :D
omg so handy i just got these amazing shoes.... they are higher than i usually buy and kinda hurt my feet if i have them on for a while this is going to solve my problem thanks x
This was a great tip! And perfect timing. My sisters wedding is tomorrow.I will be doing this for sure! Your hair looks great!Love the darker color on you!
i just bought an amazing pair of nude pumps from Payless and they recommended those inserts. i dont really get bothered by my heels and i can wear them for hours but there are a couple pairs that i am thinking about getting the pad for the ball of my foot bc thats the spot that will get sore for me :)
Great tips! I'm totally going to payless! I don't wear my heels very often anymore cuz I thought if i'm gonna take them off in couple of hours anyway why bother... Now I can! All thanks to you!
Have you heard about Friction Block by Band-Aid? I've only tried it once and it seems to work. It's a gel that you rub onto the parts of your feet that you think will hurt due to those sexy heels you'd be wearing later (or any kind of shoe!)
I didn't realize people still grow up to be cobblers. Lol. I guess I assumed it was an antiquated profession and most people treated shoes like throw away items and didn't them repaired or altered.
@jacquelynnash43 Cobblers are still very needed in today's society. Not only are there people who buy custom-made shoes for either medical reasons or personal tastes but there are millions of people who have well loved shoes that need repair or alteration.
For instance I have a beautiful pair of winter boots I absolutely love that needed the soles replaced because the insides collapsed. My local cobbler did it in less than a day! :D
My problem is that putting padding in the shoe makes the shoe smaller, so it hurts from the top (face?) and sides of the shoe. If I get a bigger size of shoe and put padding inside, then it would be too long. Or maybe I have a weird foot shape :-P
@musicdfined won't it mkae it slipperier? (lol fail at spelling), i slip and slide all around but duct tape is shiny and smooth, but i guess trying it won't hurt ^^
@musicdfined as a drag queen i'd let you know that Duct Tape doesn't help that great with slipping...best idea is Double Sided tape and then walk around the ground for a bit so it gets a bit dirty and you won't slip again...thats what i do ;)
if i ever buy one of those shiny bottomed shoes i will just go to those concrete road and rub it against the floor so it gets some scratches and it won't be slippery anymore xD!
yes yes yes!!! i got the dr scholls for her and put them in my 5 inch heels from Bakers!! Not only did i wear them all day but i danced the night away in them at a wedding!!!! so ladies go out and but some comfy insoles for those heels!!! = ) and yes putting a sole on the bottom of your heels is a good idea!! me n the bestie had gone out dancing and she nearly took both of us to the floor because she had no grip on the bottom of her heels!!! so when she slipped she grabbed me lol lesson learned!
OMG I never thought of taking them to a shoemaker! I usually just buy those grey non slip grip pads. Totally could have made it less obvious that I HAVE the pads on the bottom of my shoes lol GREAT TIPS!! Unfortunately I have flat feet, so my feet tend to stretch heels & made the sides open up :[ Sometimes when I walk it makes a farting noise too from the air being pumped! EMBARRASSING ;[
I used to work for Payless and we had these little rubber things that u can put on the bottom of the shoes also so u don't slip and it's way cheaper then taking them to someone to get them fixed;)
I was wondering: for closed toe heels, does your feet sweat in them?? I have that problem. What are ways to prevent them (besides putting baby powder in them -__-)
@MidnightSparkles17 I have that problem too! My feet sweat a lot...it's especially a nightmare when I wear flats and closed-toe heels. For flats, I usually have to wear socks made for flats with them, but it doesn't look too good because the socks sometimes show...=(
TIP: (I saw this tip with a beauty expert on Ellen) Get pads, and put them in your shoes. Pads as in MENSTRUAL PADS! Without wings of course! They help absorb sweat, the stick on sleek and perfect. They are comfy and nice. You could cut a piece of cloth the size of the pad and put it over the pad just in case someone sees!
@pursebuzz I try to refrain from buying the same heels in different colors just because I'm a shoe addict and it's bad for my wallet. HOWEVER, I do purchase two of the same color if I'm absolutely IN LOVE with them. ...in this case...I'm still debating LOL. GOOD LUCK ELESSA <3
I buy footpetals for my shoes. I tried all sorts of cushions, the gel ones, the payless ones. They're not as great. Footpetals are the best I've tried. (: They're a little bit expensive but I think they're worth it. They're more shock-absorbent.
@pursebuzz I don't want to sound mean or in your business so please don't take it this way girl! I love your videos<3 If you already know this you don't have to say anything obviously but fur, suede, and leather comes from animals that are skinned alive! It hurts them :( There are amazing alternatives nowadays for those materials! <3
@NatalliaStile hahahaha oh no.. I thought you were going to say something like cow butt. I completely understand that everyone has preferences. That is why with my next bag it is going to be Canvas :) something for everyone<3 The red pair I showed is faux suede... I couldn't tell till I smelled it LOL
you can also use a wire brush or pad to rub the shine off to make them less slippery instead of pads over the top

How true are they for size? I'm like a 5.5 or 6;...

@lizzyleong The black ones run big. The pink ones are true to size. The insert helps for padding too :)

@ureffingay but I already have suede cream heels LOL
pursebuzz 6 months ago
@pursebuzz I try to refrain from buying the same heels in different colors just because I'm a shoe addict and it's bad for my wallet. HOWEVER, I do purchase two of the same color if I'm absolutely IN LOVE with them. ...in this case...I'm still debating LOL. GOOD LUCK ELESSA <3
ureffingay 6 months ago
@ureffingay yeah... I don't like getting the same color if the heels are the same. Except for black LOL.. noodle nooddlee...
pursebuzz 6 months ago
@pursebuzz they are just a hint darker than your basic cream i find, but they're beautiful and go with everything! let me know if you get them :)

I buy footpetals for my shoes. I tried all sorts of cushions, the gel ones, the payless ones. They're not as great. Footpetals are the best I've tried. (: They're a little bit expensive but I think they're worth it. They're more shock-absorbent.

Has anyone told you where suede comes from? :3
NatalliaStile 6 months ago
@NatalliaStile yes same place leather comes from LOL
pursebuzz 6 months ago
@pursebuzz I don't want to sound mean or in your business so please don't take it this way girl! I love your videos<3 If you already know this you don't have to say anything obviously but fur, suede, and leather comes from animals that are skinned alive! It hurts them :( There are amazing alternatives nowadays for those materials! <3
NatalliaStile 6 months ago
@NatalliaStile hahahaha oh no.. I thought you were going to say something like cow butt. I completely understand that everyone has preferences. That is why with my next bag it is going to be Canvas :) something for everyone<3 The red pair I showed is faux suede... I couldn't tell till I smelled it LOL

sticking a piece of duct tape on the bottom of your shoes help. you walk a bit and the fibres start to come thru, makes for great traction!
RuiKylin 6 months ago
