  • awesome car. Wrong hood.

  • hahahahaha intimidate that scooter riding fuck!!

  • bad ass car broham

  • is that a 340?

  • Daddy can you buy me some new tires? The dashpad is from a 71-74 Challenger btw.

  • i would have wayyyyy to much fun with that car

  • dude your car is totaly amazing!

  • gorgeous car man, Mopar baby!

  • Hood looks great to each their own

  • why the t/a hood on a r/t????

  • my favorate mopar color

good job showing off mopar muscle

  • my favorate mopar color

  • Nice fucking car, I love those old Challengers

  • A real Challenger not like the new ones just inmoretesons

  • best burnout ive ever seen!

  • Some R/T Challenger's came stock with a T/A hood !!!

  • @aloc001 No, they didn't. If you ordered a Shaker hood before mid year in 1970 they sent you an R/T with a T/A hood. Then when the shaker arived you brought your car into the dealership where they installed the shaker. The car would still be stamped N96 for shaker, but have the T/A hood.

  • that last burnout was sweet

  • automatic or 4spd?

  • @hoythunting1 its a auto

  • what kind of exhaust is that ?

  • I noticed yo seem to have a police interceptor radar on your dash--if you're considering at going at speeds that require that product, have you considered getting new suspension?

I know hotchkis is going to release a first gen Challenger Suspension pack for 3,000 bucks in a few months. Gets around .86G on the slalom if you're good.

  • automatic or stick?

  • And it has "Challenger" tires. How appropriate.

  • Now THAT is me! Purple and all. Wanna sell it?

  • Perfect 10 Car!!!!!!! I've got a chance to buy a 1972 Challenger for $1300 but hood, driver side fender, and steering coulmn missing. But sweet car!

  • @prerunnerexpert 1972 isn't that nice in my opinion.but why not for 1300$

  • Nice challenger!! hey what engine do you have in there? 383 4bbl?

  • Great car! Many things not factory correct, but built and drove the way you like ( the way it should be) I have a 440/4spd. Plum crazy white interior bumble bee stripe, 543hp/648ft lbs. I split the trans. case in half (727) in my 68 Charger, so be careful it can happen.

  • what's under the hood of that challenger

  • that's one hell of a challenger who ever got's it is lucky i would love to have one!

  • lawl@ bai puppyss

  • can you say 727 abuse?

  • niceeeeee man!

  • nice car dude :-)

  • Is that auto or manual?

  • Comment removed

  • wrong said fred...its a 383. which is what is came stock with.

    Original Plum Crazy R/T car

  • @GradysMusic have you modded the 383? What is the power output?

    Great ride, thanks for sharing!

  • @e101fred why do you have that feeling? nothing in the vid indicates he doesnt know. lol

  • the real question is are you dodge material? i think not sure you may own a chrysler product but a true mopar person wouldnt trash it like that

  • Well buddy let me tell you something, i'm a pretty good mopar fan and I own an all original matching numbers 1969 Dodge SuperBee 383 Magnum with a 4 speed manual and I'm gonna tell ya this, when I get that car fixed up i'm gonna drive it like it was on the movie "Vanishing Point" if you haven't seen the movie and you are a true mopar fan you will watch it A.S.A.P. I own both movies, theres actually 2 of them but get the 1971 version not the newer one both are good though.

  • yes i have seen it and yes it is a good movie but my opinion is I respect a vehicle like a family member and i don't abuse it, because my dads 1969 Chrysler New yorker has gone through alot and deserves respect lol

  • Yeah but that's a "Chrysler New Yorker" not a high performance street version of a race car, a car like that isn't really meant to be driven hard even though they do run pretty fair for there size, but yeah I do see were your coming from on your particular car because of it being in the family but i'm not changing my mind, it's what the cars were built for, "FUN".

  • nice challenger dude! whats it got in it? 440 6 pack?

  • Rolling in the ever popular Statutory Grape color I see.

  • Angry Horsepower

  • That is the altimate definition of 4-wheel ANGER!

    Challenger = Mechanical Road Rage!!

  • Massively Over Powered Asphalt Ripper

  • the last peel-out was from an awesome angle

  • did your dash come off a later model ??? cuz i got a 71 and thats the same dash ... i remember the 70 model having just the challenger lettering not the plate

  • good job sticking the emblems on the tape stripe. Clown sounds doggy too

  • awesome, fuzzy dice in plum crazy.

  • sweet ride! does your dad know you are raggin his car?

  • Awesome engine sound and paintjob. Last scene is shivery.

  • Why are you rocking a T/A hood? put the old R/T hood back on her.

  • @Vindictivendetta thats not a trans am hood its a dodge aspen hood

  • @bowdude21 dodge aspens never had hood scoupes i know i own an r/t

  • @1964ghia they actually did im pretty sure it was an option though

  • looks like a cuda. cool car! love the charger too!

  • That's because the cuda and challenger shared the same platform. At least from '70 and on.

  • love the dice.

(and the car, of course =) )

  • @ChiliPepper92

    ...a little embarrassing.

    But cool car ;-D

  • is that a challenger?

  • is that stick?

  • Can you roll those rear 1/4 windows down?

  • Comment removed

  • i'm so jealous. I want one so bad. But living in England, it's so difficult. I don't even think it'll fit on the roads..............I really want one though :'(

  • Awesome car, how long did it take to restore??

  • american fuckin muscle!!

  • Comment removed

  • Nice Challenger, where did you get the money for the thing? and hell yeah im Dodge Material, got a classic Mopar myself

  • is this a 426 version?

  • at 3:41 thats a good way to blow up your transmission you idiot

  • It's actually 3:44 and 4:31 dumbass can't you tell time, and I had a 727 TorqueFlite trans one time in a 63 Dodge Stepside shortbed 2wd pickup one time with a 440 in it and it would literally twist the driveshafts into twizzlers from wide open dumps and it never hurt the trans and it was all stock.

  • oh im so sorry i offended you that i was off by three seconds. will the youtubers ever forgive me? my life is crushed....

by the way, nice sentence structure.

  • Well thanks about the sentence structure but your life isn't crushed and yes i'm sure the youtubers will forgive you sasquatch440.

  • i m pretty sure he was being sarcastic.

  • I know he was being sarcastic, so was I.

  • ah ic

  • nicest 'turning burnout' i've seen on here. really smoothly done.

  • letswangchun, that car is anything but weak.

  • sounds weak

  • bwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!! I have vtach!!!! yay!!!!!!!1!!!!

musclecars don't need 9000rpm or vtek.

  • wow that is very nice..looks like you have a nice fairlane in the shed...

  • damn where do these kids come up with the cash for these cars.

  • thanks to their mommy and daddy, these guys cant be over 18. just a spoiled mother fucker

  • obviously u dont know shit

  • is ur car colour plum crazy?

  • Well, I am 19, and I drive a Mopar. I did the work myself, restoring it with my dad, so its nothing that was handed to me.

  • right on

  • @germanshep999 obviously your jealous.. lmfao

  • @germanshep999 obviously you're a fucking ass hole and you're jealous. You have no idea where they got the car from. And if you were 18 and you're mommy and daddy gave you a car like this you would probably shit your pants in excitement.

    -Sweet car dude

  • every time i do a burnout god damn cops pull me over i guess they love to give out tickets to mopar fans fuckin pigs

  • If you're getting tickets it's because you aren't being very smart about it...

  • what is this, i know its not a hemi, is it a 383, 440 magnum or 440 six pak.

  • Did you seriously put a fucking spoiler on it

  • nah, that's stock

  • i want it

  • 70, Dodge Challenger RT. Plum Crazy. How much better does it get? Take good care of that car.

  • you know your a dumbass when you think your shit is better than mopar

  • dream car

  • cool mopar dude !! nice color too.

  • Care to make a sequel to this video? :P

  • ok grandad dont go 2 slow

  • that would be...the only purple car i would drive

  • hell yeah

  • now thats how u treat a muscle car!! i drive my 68 camaro the same way

  • I've nuetral dropped 727's in everything from 2 ton C bodies to 440 powered Dusters and never had a problem. Keep up the mayhem my good man, and ignore those other losers. They're just pissed because they keep getting their ass handed to them by a MOPAR!

  • Put that Mopar against a 2007 Shelby Super Snake, and let's see how you guys feel then. Bring it.

  • that makes no fuckin sence... let a old cool car run against a new cool car... its like takin the old viper rt/10 against the z06 vette...

  • lol i own a mustang myself and did you know what , i wouldn't even try to race against a Challenger 440 six pack , those car can smoke tire for 1 miles , if they want too.

  • lovely car :D

  • thats one rare and beautiful car youve got there..i love mopars and this is a commendable one.

  • Incredibly beautiful car... :) Lucky guy. :)

I wish I could restorate a Challenger some day, too bad I live in Finland.. Makes things way harder. :(

  • Mopar cars is life! They are so awesome. Mopar = real.

  • HELL YEAH MOPAR OR NO CAR!

  • COOL VID PEOPLE ARE HATER THOUGH

  • loose/leaky vacuum advance line?

  • not fast at all

  • What did you beat me in Red Green? Eh?

  • When? im waiting for it to go so the pistol grip can go in. The rear end has a hull once you get over 120. So in time I guess

  • Watch the neutral drops..i saw someone spend $7k on trannies in 2 months.

  • did you do a neutral slam at the end? yikes!! hope you got a trans blanket!

  • its called a mopar 727 torqueflight. dont need a blanket

  • then you haven't driven many mopars with serious power, because the 727 is fully capable of grenading under neutral slam conditions...sending shrapnel through the floor like bullets through butter. heck, a lot of seriously fast big block mopar drag racers run a powerglide for this reason. trust me, i'm a die-hard mopar guy and would run nothing else, but neutral slamming any of the torqueflites is NOT a safe thing to do due to the chance of explosion.

  • only problem I've had is broken motor mounts. so I guess it depends.

  • Awesome at 4:30 mark. Never seen that angle before. Nice original footage pilgrim.

  • So how much did it cost you to change the tires on Daddy's car??

P.S. The video blew... Gorgeous car, but terrible video!

  • ha u wish sister. My father drives a cuda.

P.S. doont see too many Purple Challengers in Canada, EH?

  • A cuda eh? beautiful! the cuda is my dream car... challenger not far behind lol

you'd be surprised on how many muscle cars there are in northern ontario..... you would probably die lol.. infact I've seen one or 2 quite similar to your car

  • sweet video dude is the challenger yours?

  • Typical mopar, always lookin for trouble ;D

  • BIG ass grin watching this video, I gotta do that this summer!

  • Very nice Challenger!!! I have a '73 myself, but it's still in the restoration stages.

  • Badass car dude no joke. At lest youre drivin it how it was meant to be driven and not pussyin around.
