back in dce84,when i was 13 yrs old, i also laughed myself sill at both of their performances on totp, this one i have to say is better of the two.one thing i cant understand,in the late dec84 performance, they are at no5.here jan85,they are at no15.strangely,the single was not available in ireland, but i now have it on cd. bad manners cancanand bow wow wow go wild in the country are my other two most favourite totp performances
@spastic017 I don't know. I think it might've been a precautionary measure just in case some nutter jumped up on stage naked or something like that! Live TV is always much more risky than recorded stuff. Shame that we live among idiots though, I think it would've made a nice 'party nation' feel...
Pete Robson aka Pete Zulu....where are you now old friend? Still in Sunderland? Still see Olga? 1st time in many years I saw that vid...still makes me laugh
i love it how they make fun on the fuckin playback :D

It's not bad miming, the sound is slightly out of sych with the picture. Notice they're in perfect time with each other....
I saw this clip when it was first on TV. That was my first exposure to the Toy Dolls and they've been one of my favourite bands ever since.
