I remember watching this dance from the AA side and i was right in the front and could see girls just balling all the way through the dance. You could tell there was that connection . But speaking from a scoring perspective, wayzaya still should have won. Technique and difficulty counts for more than choreography does, whether or not that's something me or anyone else agrees with. Both teams though, such an outstanding job. I know teams all across the state look up to both MG and wayzata.
I couldn't agree more! Maple Grove has such musicianship and connection to text. Their dances always have the "chills" factor. Wayzata was fantastic---it is interesting that everyone is still raving about Maple Grove though! Beautiful job girls!
Do they not get all of their difficulty points for that one girl not completing all the revolutions in their turn at 1:20? Doesn't the full team have to complete the skill to get the points?
I'm in love with this routine. to me wayzata is all tricks there is no musicality and having something other that turns and jumps. i love mg choreographs for all elements of the routine.
this is amazing. wayzata had ridiculous technique and choreography but it didnt give me goosebumps like this dance did. thats why i think they shouldve gotten first. it was super close but wayzatas dance didnt make me feel anything. :/
these are my thoughts exactly! this dance gives me the chills everytime i watch it! Wayzata no doubt has amazing turns and technique, but there is more to a dance then the technical side of of it. This dance has the other elements
this is absolutely amazing! ive taken dancing my whole life but i dont think i could ever be as great as these girls! FANTAaaaaaSTIC!!!
