How to change notification/message tones on Samsung Galaxy Ace

Hi there, i've clicked on the "my files" part, however the only files it shows are Android, DCIM, Lost.dir,Media and samsung apps. Any help would be great ty

I have followed the video, made the folders and sub folders. I got as far as copying the sound and pasting it into notifications But when I try to go into settings on the messages its still the sam old notification sounds :-( Sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

@izatuder are you actually going into the notifications folder or are you pasting it into the sub folder where it has notifications and ringtones listed?

@greenybaby1 everything goes the same except when I paste it copies but doesn't say file already exists as yours does ....

@izatuder had replied to this but it didn't post, anyway yes i already had that specific song as a msg tone so it was already in the notifications folder, the only time you will get that msg is if you are making a duplicate

I know this isn't relevant to the vid but does anyone know how I can change the text message layout on samsung galaxy ace? I recently got my phone for repairs but can't seem to find or figure out where it is. Any help?

@TROLLtotheLOL as in the different skins?! I had several skin options when i first got my phone but it was on froyo 2.2.1 since updating to the gingerbread firmware this option has disappeared, so that may be what happened to your phone, go to settings>about phone then scroll to the bottom to see what firmware you are on, if it is not froyo then you can no longer change the skins :(

also..guys i have galaxy s note so i understood the problem..i have a commoin solution for u all finally... go to the menu..then in music library...choose ur desired song and then press and hold it til the options apear and u shall see sumthn saying set us ... simple as tht..took me 10 min but i figured it out.. cheers!!!

I haven't got half of the folders you have on yours there's no media or notifications this phone is drink me nuts only got it yesterday it keep freezing and the charge is rubbish how do you rate it?

@channielewis I didn't even set up the media folder, it was there from the beginning :/ The only time it freezes on me is when I play angry birds for long periods of time lol charge is rubbish I agree but when out and about I bring my usb lead with me in the car and use a cheap usb charger that I bought for €2 :)
