  • go echo flight. (from 1Lt. selleck)

  • I'm gonna be staffing at the FLWG Encampment 07' as a Flight Sergeant... again.

  • yo dude then see you there monday im an airman and i just passed my a1c test and cpft so im borderline e3 =], lol ok man im with the 319th squadron like i sed cya there monday

  • MN wing Encampment was a fun experiance. Encampment '99 Grand Forks Air Force Base, 2nd CTG Foxtrot Flight... Thanx for the Vid. Capt. Warneke MN Wing, CAP

  • god i want to go back so much

  • if you want to go back so badly then do it! Applications for basics are open for this years NCR.

  • i was kicked out of CAP

  • by your parents.

  • u can say that

  • what else would we say?

  • sad thing is it never really ends...im from NV wing and no it NEVER ENDS! stupid enlisted senior members and their yelling but hey it works!

  • ahh basic encampment..how I hated thee. Haha.

  • which encampent?

  • I went to NJ basic encampment. Was quite boring.

  • That sucks. You should try going to a fun one. MNWG encapment is pretty tough, and so is CAWG. Also, at MNWG encampent, you get to shot M-16s, repel of a 50 foot struture (at least I think that's how tall it is), and ride in a black hawk helicopter. Great food too!

  • good stuff, good stuff. After going to Falcon Flight Encampment, I was satisfied. Soloed and enjoyed living on a military base for a week.

  • when you say "satisfied" does that mean that you've quit?

  • Quit? no. But I don't exactly find much interest in CAP anymore. It doesn't really serve a purpose after so long.

  • Really? How long have you been in? What's your grade. Certainly you haven't done EVERYTHING. Gone to IACE?

  • I catch your drift. It is true that I could continue with certain courses, but I've lost interest in making a career out of flying. Low paying, no benefits, and horrible job security. CAP is a fun thing that benefits the community and I will always stick with it, I just don't have as much interest in it.

  • I know what you mean about flying. I myself still want to do it (but not with the airlines). Airlines have been horrible to their employees. I know a guy on a 39% pay cut from NWA. Unions aren't even doing anything to help. Nice to hear though that you'll stick with CAP though.

  • I went there. It was okay. I didn't like how it was too lax. They didn't even accurately check to make sure insignia were correct during inspections.

The plus side of it was that I met a lot of good friends there, and I acctually still keep in contact with them

  • nice i saw some of my friends there =) and its not even over yet..
