  • This video would be better if I was wearing sweatpants.

  • awww so gonna squeeze your little chipmunk cheeks.

  • on your next review, lower the camera. All is can see is your MUG and never really get a good look at the pistol.

  • Hi. Just fyi, you don't need a take down tool. Just use the bottom of a mag to depress the spring and rotate the bushing by hand. Have fun

  • Thanks for the review! The Range Officer will soon be my first 1911, and I can't wait!!!

  • Hello, pube.

  • Uh, great vid, uh, nice 1911, uh, thanks for posting, uh. Uh, everything is great except, uh, all the uh, uhs.

  • Believe me, that's a $3000+ value gun. You can take that thing to a tournament and take a couple of trophies if you know what you're doing. It's got a match grade barrel, good trigger, etc.

Good buy. From the 2700$ you just saved, buy ammo and get trained.

Don't make my mistake of getting a lot of guns and a few hundred rounds of ammo and "training" myself via youtube videos. Get a coach, get ammo. get the trophies.

  • $799? That seems pretty good. My local store (IL) sells the standard for $809 and the 1 of 500 for $889

  • is it made in the US or Brazil?

  • @dasfsadg the frame is forged in brazil and then sent to the US in a rough state. The final machining, fit and finish is done in Illinois, so essentially made in the US. The brazilian made springfields are very good weapons though, any serial that starts with the NM prefix means it was made for the most part in the US.

  • @mserr thanks, thats good enough for me

  • @mserr Well that pretty much seals the deal for me. The 1911 is AMERICAN... deigned by one, made for one. Don't need any Brazilians in the mix.

  • @mserr ive got a milspec springer in stainless. and honestly the quality of steel with the brazilian frames stamped imbel arent as good or seem more prone to rust than the north american versisons. with that being said its a springer and it always seems to go bang.

  • only 500 were made and are engraved and i got #1! i will make a vid soon. i love my awesome dad!

  • @punisher102938 got some bad news man... the engraved 500 are just the first 500 produced, not all that were made. some more bad news, all 500 say 1 of 500, even mine. it means 1 OF the 500, not #1 of 500. sorry to burst your bubble, you still have a VERY nice gun and lucky enough to have one of the first 500.

  • @mserr hahahahahahahah bummer, that sucks

  • @mserr Crushing hopes and dreams man :)

  • @punisher102938 lol aint that sum shit

  • @punisher102938 i have 1 to and they all say 1 off 500 that doesnt mean u have #1 or i also have #1

  • Let us know how it shoots.

  • Nice vid dude, I like my SIGS but I saw that same pistol yesterday and contemplated buying it. Its bothered me all day today. Your vid convinced me. I have SA M1A NM so that pistol will compliment my rifle nicely... thanks for the Video!!!!!

  • watch mike's channel it's called firearms channel . Good luck with your 1911

  • good job on the review. I have the same gun as well. it is a great and very accurate gun. Breaking time period about 500 rounds only FMJ factory ammo. Dont shoot Hollow points yet. watch the idiot scratch. when you clean it. ( idiot scratch se you tube videos) good luck and welcome to 1911 world !

  • @vovaturkey thanks for the tips, first im hearing of the idiot scratch. i dont see how it happens from the assembly/dissassembly vids ive seen. ill make sure im careful though.

  • hella !

  • beautiful gun, bro!

  • Thanks for the video and I think yours is the first review. How's the fit and finish? Does it look as good as the photos on the SA website?

  • @etravix the fit and finish is great. like i said the bushing to barrel fit required me to order a bushing wrench. the slide to frame fit is also very tight. it is a quality piece. sorry i dont have a better cam or i would have shown you in the video.

  • Does the frame say its made in IL (USA)?

  • @CarlRF99 Yes. It's a NM prefix, USA , no brazil markings.

  • @mserr Thats good to know.
