  • okey.. okay.. right.. like it.. never mind..

  • interesting!

omigoto!! i luv it, i'll start using it :)

  • do you by any chance know how to say epic fail?

  • now that's a funny comment! :)

  • I just realized you might be asking me how to say the words "epic fail" in Japanese and not making a snarky comment on this video... LOL.

shippai is failure or mistake, but I'm not sure how to add the connotation of "epic" to that

  • lol... thanks

  • maybe daishippai?

  • I like tokidoki! hehehe It is fun to say! and doitashimasite!

HEHEHE I love the morning masu! I work at the Educational Center as my "base school" and every person I pass says good morning, but all I hear is ... mumble mumble masu. Love it! Or when the other ALT leaves instead of saying shitsurei shimasu (since we leave before any of the other staff) he say. ssr shimasu. really indistinguishable unless you know. and they know! Fun words! I might have to start using them!

  • you should try "osaki ni shitsurei shimasu" on your co-workers someday as you leave early - they'll all be impressed by how polite you're being... :D

  • Yatta!,Nandatto?Nani? and Korewa! are my favorite Japanese word..i often repeat them out loud when i take a walk outside...(i live in the countryside so nobody cares)

    thanks for this vid jason!

and i thonk the sentence i repeat often is Anata Baka Dessu ne or ka....

i like to shout a Urusai out loud with many different voice i heard in anime and movie...so i practice sometimes like that!

  • I would use imogoto in the same fashion as I would use for instance "excellent"

very rarely to point out that something is "kanpeki"

but for me , I wouldn't use omigoto in a sentence

its more like a reaction to something

like if you see something magnificient you may say "omigoto"

  • omigoto !

  • great vid!

  • Sonno joi is so my kind of humor

  • Old fashioned? Like, groovy? Or, tubular? LOL!

I'm totally going to use that when I visit Japan!

  • "Sonno Joi" would be so visual bay, if you just yell it whenever you enter a crowded room.

  • great video as usual! but man i must say, just knowing you are in SoCal makes me miss it when i check out your vids! hahaaaaaa

  • I had the new Carl's Jr burger - the "Big Carl" - for dinner tonight - it was omigoto! :)
