@Bungeetaco Nope, sorry. It's got a lot of good ideas in it, if I do say so myself, but the overall quality is pretty poor. Too many glitches and stuff.
Hmm, looking at this video gives me an idea for the object importer: an option to set individual texture scaling. Some quick tweaks and the texture mapping on this level would probably look much better, especially on the hills.
Nice job with this level. As for your framerate with camstudio, download the camstudio lossless codec, it might help. Also, your pc may be a little too weak to capture at decent framerates, Tell me your system specifications via pm and I'll try my best to help you resolve your framerate issue.
Try setting the window size to something smaller, preferably 320x240 in your emulator's graphics settings. If you haven't tried that already, then there's no doubt in my mind it'll solve your problem.
Anyway, love the music. I'm a little tired of plain ol' midis being inserted into the game without being adjusted in any way.
The map is excellent as well. Nice and big. B-)
As for that fence, use Rice's plugin or 3D Ripper DX to extract the transparency.
@dudaw12 Yep, six hours. I was going mad. If you want to see what it would've looked like without all the editing in Windows Movie Maker, go look at those Zelda music hacks I did. It's pretty bad.
About the fence, thank you, I'd almost forgotten about that.
@RDX12606 It depends on what recording device you're using, and what settings you set it to. I use Hypercam on 15 FPS and 75% compression quality. It's quite reliable, but may have problems when recording large screens (I would avoid going over 640x480.)
which level did you change to make this???

I recommend Fraps to record your emulator with, it causes almost no lag. Nice job with the level by the way :D

@frauber what do you think of the layout, monsieur frauber? D:
RDX12606 1 year ago
@RDX12606 Layout looks good, I like open levels (also, the camera is more likely to work in open levels). Digging the music too.
The ground however looks a bit too plane, perhaps you could subdivide some faces and add more irregularities to the terrain.

Really, six hours trying to fix the lag?

I agree with rometwins! I've been working on a level just like this for a year and never achieved what I wanted, but you, you just did it xD
