@birthdaymatt it's legal. They can use anything in PLAIN SIGHT against you, they can use that towards probable cause. Like if I had a gun in my back seat and a cop goes by and looks inside with a flashlight, they can arrest you, because you're on public property and it is in plain sight. But if it was in your trunk, then no, they can't use that against you unless they had reasonable grounds to believe you were committing a crime.
I this even legal? Don't they need probable cause or are they just profiling? Or have they run out of supplies?
