This has been one of the most empowering messages I've ever heard. Yes, we should start to look at each other for what we realy are, powerfull,loving espiritual beings, that have chosen to live and be part of this experience we call life, each one of us with a very different path and at the same time one that will lead us all to the ultimate one called ascension. The information about the prophet's life is from hadith. it is a collection of oral report of his followers. Quran is different. It is his channeling of Gabriel. Recorded by his followers or maybe written by him. There are some groups that rejects hadith and uphold quran only because it has a lot of fallacies with political interest mixed with actual reports of Muhammad's life.

How quran was recorded is not important now. Just find the resonance within you.

I am referring to the prophet Muhammad of course, not Steve. Steve's channeling suggest we google Islam or read from the Koran to know more about this man (the prophet) who went to the mountain to channel a beautiful message of love. So I googled for it and found out that Muhammad had sex with a nine year old when he was in his fifties. That's why, I and many others 'accuse' him of pedophilia.

I am more concerned about the followers of the ET calling himself Yaweh and his followers... All religion is obsolete and I hope we can all find true spirituality before we blow this place up...

Other sources give Ayesha's age as being 16 at marriage and 19 at consummation. 2: The custom of taking child brides was a part of Middle-Eastern culture. The Jews practised it as well as many of the other nations in the Middle-East and remember too that Mary's age was probably around the 12-14 mark. (wikianswers)

the fact is for those who do believe he married her at a child's age, whether it's true or not, they believe such a man is holy, just because..their imam said so, I guess. Secondly, not because childbrides were a custom at that time, that it should be justified, because the majority back then believed this to be good. A true enlightened person would not approve of this. So I don't accept that as an excuse to justify a prophet's behaviour. As for Mary , it's not prophet Jesus who married her!

dromycatcher: Holy or not - prophet or not - the real truth is that all these holy books were not written by the prophets themselves but by their followers. And maybe all the discontent is to free us from being puppets.

I learned a long time ago to not believe everything I hear, read and see - it keeps me saner in an unstable world. Even when "facts" add up - doesn't make it true. People were burned at stakes from religious zealots because of collective thought that said something was true.
