  • this amis tribe have similar kind of face, dance and culture as some tribes in Indonesia...i guess this explain some research that my ancestor indeed came from taiwan......

  • the igorots of benguet province in the philippines have similar costumes and dances with the amis.. i just noticed..

  • Probably goes back to deep Asian culture. Long before Han culture...back before the native Americans left Asia.

  • Calling all Ami tribe people you are of the lost tribes of children of Israel!!!your means of worship are similar to the native americans because you are both from the true people who wrote the bible ....time to awake and link all the surrounding tribes together ....our God...who name is AHAYAH is calling us back....time to rise Israel.

  • 這在花蓮的美侖田徑場~

  • compare the female dresses to Hopi and men's headdresses to Apache. probably independent invention. ideas can be like dreams. aho

  • Kacaw Folad

    Hello, i rememeber this song!!!!

    Beautifull

    Congratulations!

  • The bit at 2:08 looks almost like a Zulu dance the men do ? these people did strike out to the unknown world be New Zealand to Rapa -nui to south America and North America they must have done there songs chants dress is all very similar right down to the men's head dress which is found in the south pacific .if they did it makes them the most travel d people in the world ???? ( Gareth)

  • Unbelievable, Impressing.

How a culture which is almost on the other side of the planet can look so simmilar to the ones in North America and South America.

The singing very simmilar to NAtive North Americans, The dance is simmilar to Zayas from Bolivia/Peru. There is a theory about the origen of the American man that states that immigrated from the Polynesia, therefore the connection?? Amis to Polynesia to Peru/Bolivia/North America??

  • @hxc4328 No question that these people are the ancestors of American indians, come on.. go to a pow wow in Oklahoma sometime, identical head dresses and all.

  • theroy is Maoris started from Fiji. From there to Samoa and on to the Marquesas and turned South West to Tahiti, thence to the Cook Islands and to Aotearoa/New Zealand.. But maoris say they came from a island called hawaiki, someone near hawaii. But possibly polynesians in general may have migrated from taiwan,

  • @hawaiianfried Hawiki just means home or homeland. There are plenty of places in rarotonga that have that name too. Islands and beaches. You are spot on with everything else though. Before fiji, all Polynesia people migrated from Taiwan through Melanesia where they mixed with the Melanesians. The last common homeland for all polynesian people is Fiji for about 500 yrs they lived there before immigrating and spreading out.

  • its the other way around - Polynesian and Maori are descendents of the Taiwanese aboriginals. We are them 5000 years in between. Kia Ora from New Zealand.

  • wow..the way the women dance..similar to my culture in sabah..

  • So this group of people is the closest relatives of the early Filipinos?

  • I think so, but I'm far from an expert.
