He had Borren's Syndrome, which prevented the flood from controlling his body by randomizing the natures of the electrochemical pulses sent though his nerves, thus stopping infection forms from matching said characteristics. He survived to fight on as the only black person in Halo... only to be killed by a lightbulb, in Halo 3...

Well...whether or not he was actually killed by the lightbulb is up for discussion. There is another video showing that, when his body is defended and has something placed on him (if I remember correctly, it was a bubble shield), then he soon recovers and fights through the rest of the mission with you.

i just played the trial pluss the same day i played trial i brought full version bet that lvl so easy plus to kill hunters Tip: Throw Plasma Grenade on a hunter then go behind with assalt rifle (Battle Rifle works too if ur playing halo 2/3) and shoot em in back
