  • The best scene of the entire film.

  • This scene is why Movies are magic.

  • Sink... Like a Sir

  • Just thought I'd say this: according to fact, the band willingly went down with the ship. members of the band that didn't have their instruments, stayed and danced to the music just to be with their friends for the last time. they knew there was no getting off the ship, so they decided to die doing what they loved, rather than try to save themselves.

  • The elderly couple in the bed is the most heartbreaking thing. Based on a true story of the owners of Macy's department store in New York; Ida and Isidor Strauss, both of whom died on the Titanic. Ida was offered a seat on a lifeboat but refused so that she could stay with her husband saying, "As we have lived together, so we shall die together."

  • Gentlemen.. it has been a privilege playing with you tonight. Now, Lets run like hell

  • the officers some surviors was mr. lightoller mr. pitman mr. boxhall mr. lowe theme some not surviors was capt. smith mr. wilde mr. moody mr murdoch capt. smith stay on the ship mr. wilde dies on the water him was so call mr moody hypotermi on the water mr . murdoch drunk on the water

  • 12 people dislikes this freezes to death^^

  • @anukahhelo sick....

  • Wallace I will think of u everyday!!!!!!!!

  • This was the part of the movie that really made me start to sob. This is definitely the greatest movie of all time, no other movie could hold a candle to it, and even if you don't like this film, you have to admire this scene.

  • this movie is going to be in 3d and i'm so going to cry during this scene

  • Personally, I think this is the saddest scene in the entire movie.

  • oh it's so sad.....the mother talking to her children makes me cryyyyyy....

iceburg made 12 acounts and disliked this.

  • shows to never fuck with god!!!!

  • This is one of the greatest films in cinema history, whether you like the film or not, you have to admire this scene!

  • This scene made me think of if ever me and my family had sailed on titanic and it would probably be a 7/10 chance that at least 1 person in my 4 person family would die! It makes me sad to picture my mom, dad, or sister drowning. God must have been really mad at these poor lives that were cut short F--- you iceberg!

  • like a sir

  • I got depressed when the old couple just accepted that they were going to die... at least they had eachother.

  • *crying*

  • This scene makes me cry everytime :'( <3

  • 1:17 Como me gustaria una muerte asi :c

  • Why couldn't the officers just shoot the davit grips off so the rope would be released? Making the lifeboats stay afloat. They did it the hard way.

  • RIP. Grandma geb. 10.11.1919 gest. 21.02.2012. I love you, Omi!!!

  • the violin guys were the saddest part of titanic, nothing else

  • that old couple is Isador Straus, founder of Macy's and his wife Ida Straus

  • It must have taken there everything to play that last song......no one was listening and yet..... they played

  • @Gymnasty2468 i mean it was either that or run for your lifes to god knows were

  • I cried so dam hard at this part of the movie....... man how horrible this kind of thing only happens in nightmares the worst ones.

  • Best scene in the film because it is largely free from the obnoxious excuse for main characters this film had. It showed what this movie could have been. It should have followed the stories of 8 or 9 characters equally, rather than choose the two most cliche and uninteresting ones and making the entire movie about them.

  • @KrazyKommieKiller then make your own version and shut up, please :]

  • Still one of the most epic/emotional/memorable scenes in movie history, especially the beginning... Great song, great movie, great upload!

  • T_T...........AND THE BAND PLAYED ON....

  • I just ball... and ball and ball and ball.

  • I cried when the alcohol fell on the floor..

  • @RobinGothic16 haha looked like JD aswell :(

  • @RobinGothic16 i thumbed up your comment before i read it properly ...but i love black humor XD

  • @RobinGothic16 alcoholic

  • @RobinGothic16

That was a terrible thing to say. The boat is sinking, people trying to save thier lives & you are worried about alcohol falling on the floor? I bet that was some very good liquor though.

  • my favoritate scene, there isnt one, because its sad to think this even happened.

  • Wallace Hartley is my relative. RIP Wallace and everyone who died on the Titanic

  • After all of the sinking rose jumping off of the boat jack dying rose gong to save jack and this..... The only scene that makes me cry is the ending scene when jack and rose get married

  • Goodbye ZavCoyote, good luck.

  • I'd hold you so tight you wouldn't even feel your own arms.

  • The old couple were bases on real people. The women wouldn't leave her husband <3

  • Haven't cried for a couple of decades, but this song makes me weep.

  • This can't make me cry...but it gives me a feeling of mortality

  • :( i didnt cry but i feel so empty and sad now in my heart i feel so sad so many children so many people... i shiver when i think of this... I feel so sorry god rest them all... But i wonder why did noone notice the giant iceburg so close... How tragic this makes me feel,This movie is why im afraid to go on a boat in the cold waters of the titanic

  • This was my favorite scene in the movie

  • insta-cry

  • Epic.. "But this ship can't sink!"

  • Life; horrible things & beautiful. Pain wouldn't be half as excruciating if there were no such thing as joy to provide contrast with grief. It's well known the most tragic part of a tragedy isn't the hero's loss but that he almost wins. To dwell amidst light and then it is reduced to a distant glimmer. Life is like this, we are born into this world miraculously, by any account, we grow, blossom, & immediately there after we begin to fade.

For this reason we all ask

What is the meaning of Life?

  • @ArhkXi The meaning of life is God's test to us to see if we follow his word and tell others of his word.

  • Can you please post the sinking scene!!!!!!!!

  • Why did i put myself through this?! Best part of a film ever in my opinion...

  • @RRaeside94 : you know i just asked myself the same question... it always makes me cry, no matte how many times i watch it... the old couple and the mother reading to her children, just said! :-(

  • The mom and kids scene just made me cry.

  • @66Metallicaman66 the song makes my throut hurt when i cry and right a 41 sec it now hurting

  • 1:30 the mom plays Vasquez in (Aliens 1986)

  • 2:09 It's that guy from Charmed... :)

  • noooooooooo...people r stupid, gosh the whole titanic didnt sink it broke in half and half of it sunk

  • @becca6746 Is this a joke i dont get? :L yes it did split in half but both halves sank... :L

  • The songtage of all songtages.

  • RI.P. to everyone who died on the ship we all cry 4 u

  • This message reminds me to not end your life in tradgedy, mourn, horror,or pain. Just lie down in a peaceful place and slip into the heavenly place in God's heart that he has prepared for you. :_)

  • I heard that too. Some said that they could hear a waltz song called 'Autumn' playing in the background. X

  • its just so sad

  • 1:16 to 1:38 is the saddest part in my opinion. :(

  • @PinkButterfly2662

i always cry at that part :'(

  • Oh right. I'll need to watch the film again. I only saw four. I thought they were absolutely awesome for staying til the bitter end. X

  • i ran to my room and cried for 4 hours. :(

  • omg min 1:19 :'(

  • @princesitagutierrez that my good friend, is true love :) (happy face meaning love)

  • i cried when i saw the old couple clinging on to each other in the bed while the water underneith them flowed

  • @Mightymazza2 it's sad how the mother and children are in bed while water rises

  • @jakxcombat 1:59? if so lol

  • Unsinkable ... Pff, yeah my ass -- '

RIP all people who die in the sinking of the RMS Titanic... 100 years now ? OMG...

  • Was there really a string quartet on there that played til the bitter end?

  • @awferfuksake yes

  • @awferfuksake Was an eight man group.

  • @awferfuksake Yea, but nobody is sure if Near My God to Thee was their last song played. Some survivors who were on the ship until the very end say they heard and some say they didn't.. and some say they heard a totally different song being played at the end. Either way, very sad.

  • I can't believe it's been 100 years

  • i cryied so much when i saw this movie i think i almost craped my pants

  • Every time I see this movie,I ball....there can never be a time I can't cry-3 this movie is the best! I cry so much!:/

  • Its a beatiful music.

  • i don't understand the lady sleeping her children. they're still gonna die in pain because when the water comes in they're gonna wake up!

  • @Bebe2020Mega thats not the point the point is she has done everything she could and theres no hope of escape so better to keep the children calm and happy

  • 2:59

Now that is one fucking gentleman!

  • i love you all people .. all you dieing , you are stilll in my heart in never forget you ..God loves you all , and he has a place for you, he loves you... i know that, because if i can love people , he can love more than i do. because he is love

  • @kotellett I don't understand, if God created everything, then why did he let this happen? Why does he let anything bad happen? I<3Titanic

  • @XxTheCherry any suffering in life is not even remembered when they go to Heaven.

  • @aliathabet Don't bring your ignorant bullshit here.

  • The old couple /3 :'(

  • nah, I still think this is a pretty shitty film

  • @Spaceman2921 i smell hate

  • @sexiidude225 and troll

  • Musicians with bravery and valor of a soldier,I salute thee...

  • @ 1.20 this is how i want to die....to be holding the one ive loved all my life.

  • This is a better love tor than twighlight and tis is only1 movie

  • :'(

  • Nothing better to do on a friday night than watching this and crying... damn... i'll have to see some kitten videos to cheer up

  • I've seen a ton of movies, big explosions, fancy animations, and all that stuff. I must say nothing comes close to this scene.

  • This makes me cry every single time

  • It's the elderly couple on the bed and the woman and her children, that gets me. They know they can't escape so they find peace in their last moments. It breaks my heart to know this actually happened, I can't even begin to imagine.

  • @EllieSUICIDEE every time i hear this song my throt starts to hurt and my eyes start to water up

  • @EllieSUICIDEE that part makes me wonder what it was like it was so sad 2500 people went through that this realy happend i cant stop god bless the people on that ship that died my they rest in peace

  • @EllieSUICIDEE couple in bed supposed to be the Strauss', owners of Macy's?

  • James Cameron is a GENIUS.

  • Did the 2 kids die?

  • @grole127 Its a great assumption that yes they did. The mother is putting them to bed, obviously telling story until they fall asleep; this giving an indication that they will never wake up.

  • True story this. The unsung heroes!

  • "Gentleman, it has been a privilege playing with you tonight." *___*

  • That, my friends, is how a true captain goes down with his ship.

  • @BeanTheCoffee Very, unlike another we all know who abandoned his ship after drinking with dancers all night.

  • @BeanTheCoffee

Except he didn't. Reports claim Captain Smith did attempt to escape by jumping over the gunwale.

  • @Cluedokid25 You just fucked my comment in the face.

  • I would have started to play like crazy just like "Nuttin but stringz"

  • @ThooSuu When this actually happend, the point of it basically was "God is the only help we got left now, so lets play a church song."

  • back in those days, the captain was always the last on the ship!

  • those men were very brave to stay behind to play the last song. R.I.P all the poor souls who perished on that disaster.

  • Christ, the scenes with the old couple and the kids.....

Um, I'm going to go now. Chores and stuff...

  • Comment removed

  • This scene was so touching. I get the chills every time I listen to this song. R.I.P. to all the men, women, and children who died on that fateful night.

  • The part with the kids makes me cry so much!

  • Please, no more.... :'' (

  • :'( This movie got to be the saddest true story in history.

  • I must be made of stone or some shit. I can't cry for some reason.

  • @NickWarlordGR Do you not have a heart? o.O

  • @yuckyha1 Maybe. Or maybe is the fact that some humans cry on different things. For exable I cried (and still cry) like a baby at the end of Gladiator. I did not say I was laughing throughout the film, I just didn't feel it! Maybe one day though ...

  • This scene gets me every time.. it shows a powerful message to never leave your comrades, even at the most difficult times..

  • "And the Band Played on."

  • I NEED A KNIFE I NEED A KNIFE !!!

  • this scene always gets me!!!!!!!!! especially mentioned above the old couple and the children in bed

  • I think icebergs are very successful sea trolls

  • Best group bromance ever :(

  • Gentlemen, it was an honor playing with you tonight.

  • the part where u see the designer thomes something (forgot his full name) and the part with the old couple in bed and the mother with her childern and the part with the captian, it all makes me cry :'( but its my favouirte part too. beucase its so well played and it just makes u feel so emotional xx rip to all who died 100 years ago <3 the anevercery of this trageti is april this year <3

  • :(

  • this is the most tear jerking scene in the entire movie

  • Gentlemen, it has been a privilege playing with you tonight.

  • I love this movie to death, and so dose my mom. It's one of the movies they're re-releasing into theatres in 3D. The movie will be opening on April 14th, 2012, to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the sinking. We are so going to see it. Thumbs up if you're going too!

  • @LizaKimoto yes but its coming out on the 6th.

  • いやいやいや高画質すぎるww

  • the guys with the violins are badass

  • God bless everybody who died on that terrible night RIP

  • Comment removed

  • Arguably the saddest scene in the entire history of films!! I cry everytime!! :(

  • like if u see the guy in the backround hurl the chair off the ship and then awkwardly run away at 0:20

  • @pellalex123 because they were so far down they couldn't escape. So the only thing they could do was wait for death

  • The part with the old couple in the bead makes me bawl

  • @PellAlex123 well I'm guessing they know they're gonna meet their inevitable death, so they wish to die peacefully

  • Poveri italiani, costretti ad essere tutti paragonati a Schettino...

Poor Italians, forced to be compared to Schettino...

  • @MsSuperdiana thanks! Grazie ^^

  • This is so good and sad! :( RIP Titanic victims

  • This is one of the best scenes of the film.

  • Comment removed

  • Why are they sleeping while the water comes?

  • @PellAlex123 If you saw a deleted scene, that was Isador and Ida Straus. Ida wouldn't leave Isador and said if he died, she'd be right there with him. They knew they wouldn't make it. So they are in bed just waiting for the water to take them.

  • Did the orchester survive?

  • @SkyGFG nope. they all died. there is a memorial to the Titanic's musicians in Southampton, featuring Wallace Hartley's name...

  • @sveKKau Ok, thanks :(

  • The captain really hit me and Mr.Andrews because they know what will happen to them

  • i just love how the mother makes sure her kids go to sleep so they won't suffer as much. that would be so hard to do knowing that you are going to die!!

  • R.I.P. TORtanic

  • 0:20 why would they all want to carry around there instruments while drowning in the first place?!

  • @Wailot6 If you were going to die, and had been a musician all your life, why not?

  • @Wailot6 there trying to keep people calm, and putting people before themselves, awh, havent you heard of that saying before?.

  • @shannie4mac well, I mean why would they carry their things when they have stopped playing and are trying to save them selves.

  • @Wailot6 They knew they wouldn't survive, so they wanted to go down with the ship with their instruments. True gentlemen in my eyes.

  • If you don't cry at least once when watching this movie, then you're heartless.

  • @sexiidude225 I cried afterwards.... :'D

  • I read somewhere a very interesting article, concerning the Titanic victims. Their souls were immediately take care of. A vision of angels saving them in a sort of great platform rising qbove the ocen....Had someone read about?
