@BatteryBiscuits Genre is Post Rock. check out Nujabes also, he is not necessarily within this genre but his type is similar with it, which leads me to Post Rock.
i have a question ... why did you tag this video as religious? ... just wondering ... i would like to know ... are they actually a christian band? ...
uploader is correct, the band itself is not a christian nor religious band, it just happens to have christian members which is why many of their track names have religious references, though to be clear, they seem to refer to a wide range of faiths and not just one.
Makes me feel like I'm alone on some paradise planet. I can sit on a cliffside and watch the sun set past rolling plains, but it's not quite as majestic when you're alone. It's sort of like this huge emptiness feeling.
I agree. It does take me to some alien type planet. While listening to this I automatically imagine sitting on a cliff side as well, staring at two or three moons rising in the dusk
I imagine this song... like someting scratching your inner chest... and your chest is transparent... and then it starts bleeding... and the high and lows of the song made with the synth... are like caresses all over your body. i dunno.
I've been looking for music like this.
It's really soothing and calm, I love it

How badly can one misuse and abuse a synthesizer? This answers the question. Tomita, you're not.

Those are guitars.

Indeed, 85% of their stuff is guitars. The lower notes you hear are from an octaver. They also use baritone guitars as well.
