Well, this is all relative I believe. Every kind of teaching than could be considered as brain washing. Each decision a person, a child makes is influenced by various sources be it direct teaching or just common behavior. There is a lot to talk about but very little space. This, I think is the oldest debate of mankind.
wonder if u'll admit that u've been brainwashed too?! every belief is a religion including atheism and all other beliefs.. well tell u what! maybe my case is unique but no one ever washed my brain :P i was lost and found my way on my own thanks to Allah he showed me true path. It was painful and brainwash sometimes helps u to avoid pain.. I'll teach my children as early as they can hear me (we know that they can hear us even before they born right :P)
I don't think eastern(islamic)women have to be liberated from outside. But video doesn't tell all truth - western women have a choice were and what to be, eastern - not so...
you might be right you know.. but do u have any idea where do women stands in islam? im sure u have no idea cos even many muslims have no idea about it. 2 things; 1st u've right to talk about something but if u dont wanna look like stupid then get some info about topic ;) 2nd unfortunately some muslims mistreat women but its not what islam says. its their culture and hopefully they'll understand islam better n live it
They don't have more choices then easterners or else.What they are shown as choices are traps in which they fall but realize it generations later when they understand that they still need to go on with their previous "duties" on top of the new ones that they added to their task list.they always end up being the one to compromise.They choose from what is "given" to them. even with choices available they are still being killed, raped, abused like everywhere else, can't they choose to stop that?
At-Tirmidhi; Hadeeth #55 - Narrated Amr ibn Awf: Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said: "Verily ad-Din will recede to Hijaz as the serpent crawls back to its hole, and ad-Din will find its abode in Hijaz as the mountain goat seeks refuge on the peak of the mountain. Verily the Din was initiated amongst the strangers, and would revert to them as it started. Let there be glad tidings for the strangers: they are those people who set right what the people have corrupted of my Sunnah."
