@Ypedal It's not the voltage you should be worried about it's the ampere can hurt/kill you...the voltage only makes it hurt (for example, a 1M volt taser).....but I'm pretty sure that you already knew that
Quick question. Why are you showing us, you beating the piss out of these freekin batteries? Do you work for the manufacturer and want to show us the public that they`re safe? Are you just bored out of your freekin mind? Whats your deal? I got the older vids, with the bikes, Leaf blower and bright headlight but your recent videos have me beyond confused.
@glazierEd lol.. sorry for the confusion, reason why is that i have 16 of these packs in my house and all the reading online i have done say that these things will blow up like TNT if you as much as breath on them wrong... i wanted to know exactly how sensitive they are and what mistakes i can get away with in daily use.
@Ypedal They say on my wanning labels Caution: Not edible. when will you do a video on that cautionary measure? I'm kidding of coarse, you are obviously schooled on Ebikes. Perhaps you could do a video on batteries that can take us farther than 20 stinking miles without a recharge, sorry about the U.S. Jargon, we tried metrics for ten years when I was in school, but they gave up on us.
@glazierEd That's an easy one, these exact cells i'm abusing can easily be paralleled for more capacity, a 10ah pack is good for 20 miles, double them up , tripple etc for as much range as you need. At one point i had 72v 20ah on my Norco, was good for 50 miles + at 30mph.. but that's 35 lbs of lithium on a bike !!!
I don't know about stabbing them with metal rebar, I don't see any rubber on your gloves!

@116thcrazy at this voltage i'm not worried about electrical shock, but the gloves are leather and thick as i'm more concerned with the heat factor !
