  • Nice vidio of the warning but a weather radio will give you advance warning before the tv will keep up the good work.

  • wow. A tornado warning in Canada. That can't be common.

  • @chrisz71 It's actually very common in the Summer months. Canada is ranked 2nd in the world in most tornadoes per year, after all.

  • Thanks for posting this. I actually went storm chasing that day, but to NW Ontario, ending at Fort Frances. I saw numerous storm cells, but when I got back to southern Manitoba, you can imagine my reaction when hearing a tornado had touched down not far from where I lived. This does illuminate what went on after I left the province.

  • you're welcome :)

yup, it was worse here lol

  • My youngest ferret survived a tornado over in Hamiota in june of 2007 he was owned in Hamiota by a reptile owner.

  • that is lucky of him :)

that tornado probably was associated with the outbreak around the 22-25 I'm assuming?

  • Yes it was. Same system that caused the EF5 in Parkersburg and other bad tornadoes.

  • Yup, I think this was that low pressure system.

Just we weren't in the warm sector for it, just the northward extending trough which triggered these cells.

  • @FerretsInBrandonMb

    Was it June 22?

  • I don't think she stopped it, I'm pretty sure it was master control. But yes, from Grand Forks Nexrad Radar, the storm remained strong, with evident rotation.

Haha, also just notriced another error-it's not pronounced "St. Adolphay" its pronounced "St. Adolph", even though its spelt "St. Adolphe. :P
