Baiscly you send em both out. if electivre is faster it will attack first. any attack is good.then when the discharger attacks make him use...discharge. electivre gets a speed boost and it injures the opponents

combine it with a sweeper set electivre and you got a preety hard team to beat

And you battle the brains by getting a certain win streak. To battle Palmer, you need to have gotten 21 consecutive wins.

acutually you finish it in sinnoh' home land, you have to fight at least 3.5/4 of the trainers in sinnoh. You will see 210 of them in platinum and 151 in D/P.

i know it's weird, but i think there should be a "Frontier Master." a Character that only when you defeat all Frontier Brains once, you may battle him/her. maybe Cynthia's Brother or sister they could make? or her mother even? anyway, after you get all the Silver Prints, they challenge you, and after you get all the Gold Prints, they challenge you to the Final Battle of the game and if you beat them, you become a Pokemon master or something? just a random thought...

You fight 50 for the first, and 170 for gold. I recomend using someone with lots of attack and a good move like close combat or overheat that can wipe out you opponent in one blow. I used infernapes close combat and heat wave.

I might recommend EV training if your pokemon can't handle the frontier. I can barly beat the silver rank so I am EV training a few pokemon myself. Pokemon with high attack and speed seem to do a lot better for me, like azelf.

I'd say that was a pretty good team all things considered. Although I would question the Golem. A pokemon I find really fun is Ludicolo, I use the set Rain Dance, Toxic, Surf and Leech Seed with Leftovers and Rain Dish. He just drains everything in about four turns and has enough defence and HP to keep going :D

That Ludicolo set has so far taken down at least one of every legendary except Deoxys Jirachi Arceus and Celebi (who i havent fought) and Mewtwo whos too fast with the psychic/blizzard.

Zapdos Articuno and Exploud are a awesome choice, Electivire is good if he have earthquake and a fight move and Absol is decent but i dont like it

Electivire has Earthquake Cross Chop ThunderPunch and Ice Punch with an expert belt.

Absol is for massive crits.

Swords Dance, Psycho Cut, Sucker Punch and Stone Edge, with a crit increasing item and Super Luck. Crit attack has a 33% crit rate :P one swords dance and boom!
