  • The Frenchman sews his own leg up, painful, Sharpe gets his shoulder stiched up & has a bullet removed form his gut! Who's the harder bastard? Even when dying Sharpe beats the french!

  • Nice work by Emily Mortimer, as usual.

  • The dying room seems to me like a really shite hospice.

  • Nothung! Nothung! Neidlisches schwert!

  • 8:05 The blacksmith made me lol. I big dirty man with a scruffy beard... what I always pictured a blacksmith to be.

  • Doesn't look like any dining room I've ever seen. Things sure are different in Europe.

  • @ThatsMrMoronToYou its a dieing room.

  • I always get teary at Pat's devotion and loyalty to Richard. Friends till death.

  • I know this is only a tv series. I do get that but when I see that dying room I want to grab everyone of them and make off to an emergency room! lol Silly I know but I hate thinking of them just given over to death like that. Reminds me of a Civil War soldier who was dying in hospital. He asked the nurse to, "fix me." They put limbs in a certain order after death and he wanted to help them out by preparing his body for that so he wouldn't be such a bother. Can't imagine. .

  • how the hell did sharpie loose thie lass??? well i tell ye... the lord is more important than shapies small member....

  • Aww sharpe got his sword from his officer in the first movie :(

  • Yay! Lass is a skilled surgeon, that's Sharpe's Luck kicking in.

  • 6:50 Yeah, im packing...

  • Not the nicest way to carry someone with a hole in his stomach and a slash in his shoulder...

  • Nothing makes my ass quiver like stiches.

  • I wish I was British.

  • @MajBlood i wish you were dead

  • @gt2e You need to get your fucking head checked you psychopath.

  • sharpe is a survivour and with these friends who would not be glad of them

  • sharpe is a survivour and with these friends who would not be glad of them

  • DUDE WHY THE HELL DOES SHARPE GET HURT IN EVERY BATTLE???? HOW CAN HE STILL BE ALIVE GETTING HURT THAT MUCH???? and plus him getting hurt every movie, its getting ANNOYING!

  • @generaltodd2 weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeI foundz CApaLock. My points are more valid.!!

  • @generaltodd2 no one cares about you or your fetish for the caps lock button

  • @11Cheesewaffles but you surely must otherwise you would not have commented on this comment.

  • @generaltodd2 its just annoying

  • Swear on the bible......aww Jeez i hate swaering father

    :L Harper is awesome :)

  • "It's him!"

    "How can you tell?"

    "Didn't you hear the guitar?"

  • Sgt. Connelly (the dieing room) what his he from... hmmm... anyone know?

  • Wow, if I was gonna die that wouldn't be my first choice.

  • I didnt know that Harper was a blacksmith or a guncapt.

  • @svensksoldat91 they would have been taught the basics as a soldier, he has refined his skills but the average soldier would've been expected to look after their own bayonet.

  • i think god is putting off meeting him

  • Harper <3 Sharpe

  • i guess ramona loaned the nun a dress

  • that frenchman's brave!

  • They didn't have antibiotics back then. Only spirits to wash away the fever...

  • I liked the scene with the sword in the book better: in the show, Harper's just like, "Give me sword, priest," and the priest is all, "LOL cool sword 4 U." In the book, Harper goes to a Quartermaster and finds this crappy old Heavy Cavalry blade and then puts blood, sweat, and tears into it turning the crappy sword into a fine killing weapon. So much so that Sharpe throws away the Frenchman's sword, preferring to keep the one Harper made. It's not gay at all. (Okay, maybe just a little bit gay.)

  • @themocaw its true, harper fucking was the one with the driving spirit for sharpes recovery. everyone else was all like 'hes going to die' and harper was like 'fuck that shit, im going to work on this sword like a sonnofabitch and we'll see what happens'

  • I love how the first thing the two Irishmen do after learning their names is exchange alchohol. God bless the Irish!

  • that french officer sure took it like a man haha.

  • the aspect of the dying room is a terrifying prospect. Someone hold me : (

  • just give me a call I'll put u on hold

  • I've got a feeling that Sharpe will servive. But I haven't read the books or seen the movies before so what do I know?:-)

  • hmm, I actually like that french officer, rather than have servants tend to his wound, he does it himself haha

  • i love pats excuses

  • Its a shame there was never a sharpe story where he kicks the americans asses in 1812. I woukd enjoy that. Or at leats one before the napoleanic wars (like challenge) where he fights natives in canada or guyana.

  • I'm American and even I would love to see this, mostly because I'm a huge Sharpe fan. Sadly Sharpe was in Spain and Portugal, but if he hadn't been America might be celebrating it's 200th year as a member of the Commonwealth in 2012. I kid, I kid.

  • i love sharpe, but you guys got nothing on kentucky steel and southern sharpshooting :)

  • That's true, a large number of American troops were sharpshooters with rifles -better ones than the British. Unfortunately, the rest of the armed forced sucked hard back then, which is why Adm. Cockburn and his men were able to burn the White House and Capitol.

  • I agree

  • Man I would love that, I'm Canadian, but I can't find any books about the war of 1812, that wasn't about the American troops

  • I'm Canadian too! :)

  • so all three of us watched sharpe then

  • Looks like it. :)

  • operating on your own leg now that can't be nice

  • ooo................ nasty

  • boy, that room must be hell alright! :)

  • Yikes those wounds look nasty!!

  • Sharpe rocks!

He is proper good, I like Sean Bean in Lord Of The Rings as well!

  • I don't like him too much in LOTR. He looks much more girly! He's definately better looking and a better actor in this I think.

  • girly? the dude had a beard I don't know what kind of girls you have been seeing and honestly I don't want to know

  • He's fab in Lord of the Rings, but I think they could have made him a bit less of a baddie before they topped him. He was never bad, just a) human and b)loyal to his country and family :)

    mmmm

  • Lord of the rings? who does he play? becuase i assume by the comment saying "he looks to girly" i assume he's the elf who appears to help the men of rohan out at helms deep.

  • HAHA!!! No , he was no elf. he was a human named Boromir. i really dont see how he looked anything girly..,.

  • Ah! So that's were I've seen him from.

  • Aww Harper! I love him, he is so devoted to Sharpe! Hes really sweet!

  • sean is sooooooooooooooooo fit in the sharpe series, and some other films, lol, now he's just BUFF! haha

  • lol, I was just about to say I agree to this comment - only to realise it was my username - and me who sent it in the first place, lol!

  • LOL

This sort of thing happens to me too.
