putting the byoc compressor in fron of this thing on the germanium mode sounds awesome. the compressor really helps even out the tone so its not such a drastic change, but still adds more dirt
The Triboost is probably my favourite pedal. I enjoyed building it and I've enjoyed using it even more. It does every sort of boost you could ask for. The LPB is great for thickening up a bit and the three Germanium modes are all fun. I use the clean boost a good bit with my Marshall MkII. I don't have a master volume so this puts you right into drive.
Does this pedal have a good dynamic range? Can I have it driving my amp with guitar on 10, then have back off to 5 and ease up on my attack and have it clean up? Thats what I need.
I definitely got to have it. Actually I'd have also the Overdrive 2, the Octave Fuzz and the 250+, so I'd have a solid palette in my pedalboard. Then I'll add my Crybaby and Phase90 and buy a ISP Decimator and a Korg Pitchblack tuner... As soon as someone buys one of my kidneys on Ebay. Left or right, your choice. make an offer, they're both mint condition. please. ^^
very nice build, man! i am just getting into building pedals and by doing some research, i came across your video. definitely going to order this from byoc along with the overdrive2 when it comes out in january. keep on building 'em and stepping on 'em. also, nice playing, too!

I had touch up paint leftover in a spray can, I used that then a polyurethane clear coat.

This really is a fantastic pedal. And was fun to build. Stock sounded great, the addition of the OC44 was a little better, but not much.
BYOC is top notch.

Yes, it does clean up well, though you may have to back off a little more than 5, depending on what you want.
