I always wondered what happened to the cookies that Cookie Monster eats. Sometimes the crumbles fall out of his mouth onto the floor in front of the puppeteers (like most puppets eating something); but, sometimes they disappear through the hole in the back of his mouth and probably tickle the puppeteer's arm as it falls into his/her lap. Either way, I sure hope they don't go to waste. Some pretty hungry Ethiopians would probably LOVE to have those props. I know if I were hungry, I'd eat them.
