I LOVE the blue herbal essences too! I can't think of anyone I know who doesn't enjoy the scent of coconut. I like it so much that I generally use the conditioner too. I've never noticed that problem you described with most conditioners. I like a lot of bath & body works scents too, but they discontinue all my favorites!!!

I kind of think it's a conspiracy. haha I actually worked at Bath and Body Works in my hometown...unfortunately the employee discount doesn't extend past the time of employment. Boo! I almost forgot to say that my former hairdresser told me that Herbal Essences has the same ingredient in it as Mop 'n' Glo, but I decided I don't care cause it smells SO good! From my understanding, parabens are preservatives. They keep the product from going bad. I doubt they have much to do with the lather. What makes shampoo lather is actually foaming agents put into shampoo, typically cocamide DEA, MEA & TEA. And these agents, apparantly, are not very great for us, and have been linked to kidney and liver cancers? With the exception of colour additives and a few prohibited ingredients, a cosmetic manufacturer may use almost any material as cosmetic ingredients.

i use the frizz ease serum on my hair every day but i use the purple kind. my hair looks to be the same thickness and condition yours is in but i put it all over my head, including roots, and it has only ever done wonderful things. maybe try the purple one??

I have the Loreal EverPure Smoothing hair mask, and I use it as a leave in conditioner. I have hair at least as long as yours and I color as well. I LOVE the stuff! I only use about a 1/2 a teaspoon, and that is enough to coat my dry ends and also spread through my length. I really can tell the difference. My hair is frizz free, smooth, has body without "poof" and does what I want it to do. And it feels wonderful even when it's dried!

I am also annoyed by most conditioners and how their benefits seem to go down the drain as soon as the product is rinsed out. Another great conditioner that "sticks" without a greasy after-effect is Infusium. Give it a try! Been a LIFESAVER for me! Repaired a lot of damage and has helped my hair grow quickly!
