Also when you do this while it's wet, you're ruining the hair's elasticity, and breaking her hair. I'd suggest getting a smoothing cream.

It's not that complicated if you know how to fishtail.

french fishtail braids turn out better if you take a very small strand from the original section (a or b) and add it to the section that you are crossing over. I've tried it with and without doing this, and it looks more defined or more "fishtail-y," if you will when you do this.
