Hockey is a team sport, it doest matter if you have a gretzky and a team thats sucks as hell you wont make the playoffs, what gretzky did he made the team good as good players make players around them better players which means you would have a team. Wandel Clark made his team good but not good enough to win in the playoffs thats the problem.

Growing up as a goalie in Toronto he was my first Idol, then later on Felix Potvin!! Too bad they both played for horrible teams for the most part and were underrated! They both probably had the greatest glove hand eveeeeer!!

Pretty good goalkeeper even back then in his late years; he made it to the finals with the team in their first year. I met him once at the old team store when he made an unannounced visit and he was more than happy to talk hockey and autograph anything I purchased.

Even then we were told to shoot 5-hole. Of course he's better than me. I never played net or even came close to making the NHL. Still doesn't make him an above average goalie.
Bester was my favourite goalie ever. My ma got me a TO Leafs jacket with Bester's name and num on it for my 5th birthday, i'll never forget it. All the guys on my tyke team loved it.
