This sounds like one man's experience with one woman, not really what always happens in a narcissistic relationship. Some narcissists think it doesn't matter if their significant other steps out because they (the narcissist) are so great that the significant other will surely regret it if they do. The relationship will end the narcissist will move on and the poor dumb little non narcissist will just be lonely forever, pining endlessly for their lost love and loathing themselves for the mistake.
