In My Opinion, 2006 (Even Though That Was The Year I Started Watching TWC) Was The Best Year For The IntelliStar. The New Light Blue Background With The New Icons REALLY Gets Boring After A Long Time. I Liked The Old One With The Dark Blue Backrground And The Old Weather Icons. I Even Forgot What It Looked Like Seeing The Old Version On T.V. I Wish TWC Could Bring It Back Instead Of Bringing This High-Tech Crap In That Could NEVER Beat The Classic Old IntelliStar Style. (Sorry 4 long comment).
Oh, you don't have to apologize at all. I could not agree more with EVERYTHING you said. It is nice to know someone who is on the same page with the weather icons and graphics. If it was up to me, intellistar would be discontinued all together and Weatherstar XL would replace it. I too forgot what it looked like on TV until I saw it! Personally, I don't like the new light blue background either. However, I like the new blue LDL. That is the ONLY part of intellistar that I like! :D
