lots fo jokes for PSL (Port. as a Second Lang.) students, but yeah, here's the song that's referenced... search Elis Regina NekoAnjiru: (Waters of March)
The woman singing this version is Miho Hatori or Yuka Honda (not sure which one...or both?) from Cibo Matto - the song is also on their album "Super Relax".
well, I'm portuguese, and we easily understand spanish... A funny fact: when going to Spain, even right across the border, we always have to try to speak spanish, our 'cousins' most of the times don't understand us otherwise. :) if they decide to come to Portugal, we still have to go ahead and try to explain ourselves in spanish xD
I don't actually know if this happens to everyone, but to me... It's all the time :) So..
@NekoAnjiru Yup. "Águas de Março" is a reference to the heavy rains that fall in March, "fechando o verão" ("closing the Summer Season"). This is a very well known Brazilian song.
@NekoAnjiru Hey, how are you doing? Well, if you still want to learn portuguese I think I can help you...hehehe!! Brazilian portuguese is ok for you??!! The title means "the waters of march" and although her portuguese sounds confusing the original song from Elis Regina is such a beautiful tune!!! Write down my msn, please: lucianogo2005@hotmail.com....!! This is it....See ya!!
