I miss the Gamecube era so much =(. And it's really sad that the Gamecube didn't get the recognition it derserved. It had some really nice games as well such as Melee, Sunshine, Prime, Double Dash, and tons more. This system and the Dreamcast are seriously the most underrated game systems ever!

Gamecube is a tank compared to xbox and ps2 maybe not ass powerfull as the xbox but a GC almost can't be destroyed. My GC is 6 years old without problems, and i alreasy lost a ps2 after 4 months.

What people forget is that GCN spec-wise was the most powerful of the 3 systems at the time. Unfortunately, it was rarely used to its full potential. Only Metroid Prime, RE4 and F-Zero GX really come to mind.

Most memorable games? GameCube

Best "normal" games? PS2

GameCube was a very good console.

If it had the third party support of the PS2 it would have literally been amazing.

It was a serious powerhouse which outperformed the PS2 in every aspect. And it optimised very well.

It may be purple, it may have "kiddy" games but damn this console could produce some seriously good graphics when required.

Star Wars Rebel Strike had astounding graphics for the time. Probably the best looking game for the PS2/Xbox/GameCube Era

Nintendo needs to go back to what they used to do. Make an epic Mario game, an epic Zelda game, heck, at the time, they could even make an epic Kirby game, but now, they're all focused on family games. Come on Nintendo, I want you to blow me away with another Super Smash Bros. Heck, my PS3 would be collecting dust if Nintendo made a new Super Smash Bros, or an awesome Zelda game or an awesome Kirby Game.
