I heard about those XR6 motors. They Rival Toyota 2JZ motors in every sense of the term.

There's several 1000+ hp dyno vids on youtube, crazy to watch. Insane that they can squeeze that much power from a 4.0 liter engine. Shit my 2000 Mountaineer has a 4.0 v6 and only makes 210 hp. 150,000 miles and still running strong!

The 2jz is a great motor and it seems to kick arse but I reckon the FORD DOHC 4-litre will possibly surpass it in reputation one day. The power they are getting from these things is phenominal, but I've yet to see one put in a decent chassis.

Check out the other ford forum video I posted, the last car in that video drove all the way from QLD to Heathcote, ran a string of 11.0's and then drove home with an internally stock engine. Turbo sixes are kicking arse. :)

I'm no drag racer but I have found that NOT loading up the tranny gives me a better launch. Loading up the tranny causes the car to squat before the launch resulting in more wheel spin, for me.
