  • HAHA that things looks funny but seems effective

  • I would say yours is better however the new Redmax max torque is a different story

Only 29.5 cc and will cut a 21 inch path with 095 line

  • good machine . i use stihl fs 450 and fs 480 and they are going on 6 years old now and still run sweet after 8 hours of use a day .

  • you kind of sound like tom petty i bet my Stihl fs90r could easily handle and that was a little over $300

  • @GarrettJDB

    HI

It may However you should check out the Redmax one that I have. That machine is only 29.5 cc and can run 095 line at 21 inches from tip to tip. This machine makes all others obsolete.

  • @JONSEREDdotWS would that make the engine work harder and ruin the clutch?

  • @Mrtocoolforyou12

The longer the string the more load on the engine. If engine drops below 6K RPM then the clutch shoes cannot maintain a solid grip and will heat up and burn off

Redmax solved this problem by increasing engine torque and installing a 2.1: 1 drive gear.

Now the 29.5 CC can run a 095 line 21 inches from tip to tip. See my other vid with out any problem. Been renting one out and everyone loved it. Lighter and stronger.

  • hey man, got a question 4 ya, I know u r north american, I am european, your machine looks amazingly like my Alpina which is 43cc, is your machine powered by a Mitsubishi engine? the resembelance is very striking to say the least!

  • It could be but I thought Tanaka made them

Tanaka not as good as they use to be. Switch to Remax or husqvarna

  • or a bent blade... i bent my commercal lawn mowers blade with a rock

  • ya man rocks are really hard

  • Bull shit

  • @Craftsteen117 explain your self or are these the only 2 words you know?

  • @Craftsteen117

    interesting

  • my grandpa has a yardgoat that disposes weeds and fertilize at same time and when finished makes good tacos

  • Smart Grand dad Hope you learn from him

  • I did, I did, buy some but the sombiches ate the paint off the house!

  • I'm from europe....you have made a good work...ciao

  • 5 stars .. i have a stihl fs 480 .. also have an fs 550 . you have a good machine in your video :)

  • Nice job and good machine

  • Ok what are the CC of the 230?

  • 22.8 cc power boost tornado engine

  • I spent 305 dollers on a Echo srm 230 trimmer/brushcutter it get's the job done, fast it's cut up to an acre or 3 ft tall grass in about a hour that thing rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Got any pictures/ Talk is cheap

  • nope I only watch vids on youtube don't post any vids plus I don't have a digital camcorder I have this thing from the 90's that takes tapes it still workes so I'll use it untill it dies

  • It's a Hitachi machine ...

  • I think this one is still a Tanaka. But Tanaka as a Company is no more. Like you say Hitiachi bought tnem and some are now made in CHINA. Buy a red max instead

  • i like your vids, they actually make sense, unlike others out there, you also vary with what brands you use, jonsered and tanaka, good combo, i want the brushvutter in you vid, looks very heavy duty

  • @no by a jonsered gr41 thay cut almost eneything and will last a life time

  • lol look at the ram in the right side of the screen from 1:50 - 1:58

  • You just found the better weed eater. If possible use one or more of them and at the end of the day, they make a good meal or two.

  • lol

  • wish i had grass like that to cut

  • thats job is to easy foe that bushcutter. I just did a job that was about an acre and the grass/weeds were 4ft tall. You know what I did it with? I did it with a stihl fs55r and i only did it in 30min. BEAST!!!!!!!!

  • That is good how much did you make?

There are several commercial users here that make 900 to 1000 dollars per day. No Bs I rent trimmers for 15.00 per hour using time.

  • we made about 150 dollars, but the thing is it wasnt a Professional grade weedeater/bushcutter it was a homescaper one. So that shows you how good stihl really is.

  • stihl power 4 life

  • haha ... it's a low, soft grass, very easy cutting .... try with 130-150 cm tall bushy grass .... jajaja

  • whats with the handlebars? I'd do that in shorts and sunglasses.

  • the handle bars hold my beer can't do that with a loop handle

  • whats a loop handle?

  • it is a handle on a stick one hand holds the loop the other hand is on the stick and works the throttle. Ok if you just use for a little bit. but your arms will soon get tired as they hold all of the weight and have to move the trimmer around.

  • This is a joy to do if you got a machine like that, nice one.

  • yOU nEED TO BUY A RYOBI PLT 3043YE

  • I also work on trimmers So lets see your 304 in action or is the grass that covers the side walk too much for it?

  • yes that is a strong machine. The TBC 600 sells for 689.00 May i ask the price of the 480?

  • hi .. sorry took so long to reply .. the stihl fs 480 is about £800 uk pounds .. about $1500 us

  • HI

Thanks I wonder if there is a market for the TBC 600 in your area? it half the cost but just as strong

  • i have a stihl fs 480 and that would also eat up that grass on haff revs .

  • A good machine for a tough job, I´m from Europ so Stihl is my first choice

  • sorry for not getting back sooner. But if you really want one they cost 690.00 + shipping.
