It may However you should check out the Redmax one that I have. That machine is only 29.5 cc and can run 095 line at 21 inches from tip to tip. This machine makes all others obsolete.
The longer the string the more load on the engine. If engine drops below 6K RPM then the clutch shoes cannot maintain a solid grip and will heat up and burn off
Redmax solved this problem by increasing engine torque and installing a 2.1: 1 drive gear.
Now the 29.5 CC can run a 095 line 21 inches from tip to tip. See my other vid with out any problem. Been renting one out and everyone loved it. Lighter and stronger.
hey man, got a question 4 ya, I know u r north american, I am european, your machine looks amazingly like my Alpina which is 43cc, is your machine powered by a Mitsubishi engine? the resembelance is very striking to say the least!
I spent 305 dollers on a Echo srm 230 trimmer/brushcutter it get's the job done, fast it's cut up to an acre or 3 ft tall grass in about a hour that thing rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
nope I only watch vids on youtube don't post any vids plus I don't have a digital camcorder I have this thing from the 90's that takes tapes it still workes so I'll use it untill it dies
I think this one is still a Tanaka. But Tanaka as a Company is no more. Like you say Hitiachi bought tnem and some are now made in CHINA. Buy a red max instead
i like your vids, they actually make sense, unlike others out there, you also vary with what brands you use, jonsered and tanaka, good combo, i want the brushvutter in you vid, looks very heavy duty
thats job is to easy foe that bushcutter. I just did a job that was about an acre and the grass/weeds were 4ft tall. You know what I did it with? I did it with a stihl fs55r and i only did it in 30min. BEAST!!!!!!!!
we made about 150 dollars, but the thing is it wasnt a Professional grade weedeater/bushcutter it was a homescaper one. So that shows you how good stihl really is.
it is a handle on a stick one hand holds the loop the other hand is on the stick and works the throttle. Ok if you just use for a little bit. but your arms will soon get tired as they hold all of the weight and have to move the trimmer around.
HAHA that things looks funny but seems effective

I would say yours is better however the new Redmax max torque is a different story

@JONSEREDdotWS would that make the engine work harder and ruin the clutch?

That is good how much did you make?
There are several commercial users here that make 900 to 1000 dollars per day. No Bs I rent trimmers for 15.00 per hour using time.
