Who gives a fuck about the 3MP sensor when, at that resolution, you cut yourself down to ~5fps? For the most part, to have reasonable fluidity, people have to stick to 800X600 resolution for webcam-interactions. Also, 12MP still images my ass: IT'S A 3MP SENSOR; POST-CAPTURE, YOU CAN INTERPOLATE THAT SHIT TO A 120MP — IT'S MEANINGLESS. Finally, I believe this camera doesn't even work with Windows 7, so the whole god-damned thing is moot.

i'm still very fond of the external apple iSight.... does the job very well for me.... if I am doing serious recording for webcasts or company conferences and i don't want to risk quality I will use my Canon HD Camcorder.....but like I said, for general purposes (video chat), I still stick with my external iSight.

I just got th Logitech Pro 9000. It also has auto focus I chose it over the Elite because of the Right Light technology but i'm also seeing that it is a bit choppy and drops frames. The Elite didn't get good reviews on CNet but i still may try it. Thanks for the review.
