  • This is Cages best work.

  • If this were high school: Waltz is that teacher that rises above everyone in intelligence and nobody understands that. Cage is that kid that thinks he knows what he's talking about, believes he's smarter than the teacher, and argues with him and everybody just wants him to shut the hell up.

  • Hey, where's your chocolate cake?

  • Yeah... Ghost rider was art...

    Nick Cage is a Dooooooooooouche!

  • Nick Cage is such a douchebag

  • Christoph Waltz is such a great actor and human being.

  • at 1:40 I know christoph must be like " oh hell no" in his head and i think if he had started the discusssion it would have gone in a much more subtle way...and it always seems like nicolas cage really has to make an huge effort to follow christoph´s or the other´s thoughts but tries for himself to seem very poetical and smart( which fails completely because he is clearly trying too hard)....horrible!

  • Oh my. Knowing how close to their heart Germans approach most things in their lives it must have been painful to Christoph Waltz get through this chit -chat with those Hollywood guys who mostly have their heads way up their asses.

  • Cage is killin it. Christoph is cool.

  • Are they drinking white wine or water?! Colin looks bored..and isn't about to get into a discussion or argument over semantics...he has way too much class for that!

  • Cage with such proud works as The Wicker Man and The Ghost Rider. Lol, I don't mean to bash him I like him. He won me back with Kick Ass. Big Daddy, Hans Landa, Red (From Shawshank Redemption), The King from Kings Speech, and the others guy that I don't know. Interesting pick.

  • Why in the HELL is Nick Cage there with these talented men? Colin, I love you. :D

  • Great answer Nic Cage!

  • @WiktorWillow point taken. I suppose you're right.

  • colin firth i dunno why, he creeps me out. nice videos, i liked what nick and christoph had to say.

  • Why is Cage asking all those bullshit questions? What a friggen idiot. He's so pretentious. He's rambling like a drunk college student who just got out of psychology 101. Wow, what deep pondering you moron.

  • 3:43 Colin Firth dan Morgan Freeman's minds wander away as Cage rambled on

    3:46 Stanley Tucci looking bored

3:49-3:51 Peter Sarsgaard looking forward to have Cage stop talking.

  • Nicolas Cage is great actor!

  • Simply put, Art Is created. If you don't consider yourself the creator, you're nor the artist. I doubt anyone would agree that Cage owns his roles. He is performing someone else's art. Most acting is purely a craft. However, most people would agree that if you take an existing piece of art in a fundamentally new direction it becomes yours. • i feel sorry for Christoph Waltz. none of these guys have ever been on the same level of talent as he is. i will say Morgan Freedman is a close second (at least in this particular setting) but he's a gigantic sell-out. if you don't believe that then all i have to say is, "Bruce All Mighty" go fuck yourself Nicolas Cage.

  • @PxAxZxDrums

Christoph Waltz is phenomnal no doubt. But I wouldn't say Morgan Freeman is a sell out. Just because he's in Bruce Almighty instead of an esoteric film doesn't make him a sell out by any means. An actors needs work. Christoph Waltz for example is in Green Hornet--not exactly the most serious film--but a film none the less. The both of them have excellent work ethic that goes with it.

Nicholas Cage--as accomplished as he may be--has always irritated me. And here it's clear why

  • I get so bored listening to Nicolas Cage talk.

  • stanley is like " dude, just STFU. "

  • Why is Cage there? He wasn't nominated this year.

  • @B1ggu5 Shhhh he doesn't know that xD

  • ASNDKGJ!! SOMEONE SHOOT CAGE!!

You can tell he's the only one whos trying too fucking hard, trying to look interesting, intelligent.... and the rest of them are having a simple, fun chat... STOP ASKING STUPID QUESTIONS YOU FUCKER!!

  • Are people only calling Christoph Waltz a genius cause he was in Basterds or because he deserved his best supporting actor award? And people need to shut the fuck up about Nic Cage why don't you actually watch one of his movies that isn't overly trashy, if you look at his body of work, there is great deal to admire. Waltz is a new guy and he still needs to prove himself a great actor. Right now he is simply a good one. Everyone else at this table has proven greatness.

  • @thechallenger9000 I've actually seen performances of Christoph in a number of works before Basterds, and he is undoubtedly talented. He's been a respected theater actor in Europe for many years prior to this film and really has nothing to prove. I find him more admirable not simply because of his talent, but because he presents himself with integrity and restraint in a way Cage never could. Cage may or may not be a great actor, but he sure is unpleasant and overbearing.

  • @thechallenger9000 NOT THE BEES AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH

  • Nicolas Cage. What an arshole. You just lost a fan.

  • All I can think of is how gorgeous Stanley is...and Christoph is a wonder to behold in Inglourious Basterds :)

  • I like how Christoph thinks for a real long time before ever so quietly saying something in his slightly awkward and adorable manner. And everyone elses faces when he's talking are just priceless. Nicholas Cage on the other hand can just shut up, he seems to be completely retarded.

  • Who needs further thoughts after Christoph's statement about acting? Perfect!

  • Nicholas Cage= PWNED.

  • l don't know what they are talking about at the table, until l hear Waltz. he's the only one that impresses other as an true artist

and l love colin firth, he's the 2nd best speecher

  • C. Waltz: " It's the result that makes the art, not the process.."

thank god, for chirstopher waltz!! :')

argh god nicolas cage is so annoying -.-'

  • Please be quiet, Nicolas Cage.

  • For me it seems that when Christoph gets in, he sort of cleans up the discussion. But Nicolas Cage ruins it. "bizarrrr" and "oOoOoBarracuda" are right.

  • Colin Firth and Christoph Waltz were the only guys at this table who said something meaningful.

Nicholas Cage did not understand what Waltz explained. You could see it in his face.

  • Christoph Waltz speaks and you can see the wheels turning in the others face as they try to comprehend it. Very easy to tell who the smartest person at this table is!! C.W.=brilliant

  • (Christoph thinking to himself) Morgan, just because you were in Batman doesn't make you the fucking king of the world and nich...shut your fucking face.

  • @mansondevil33 but morgan IS the king of the world

  • Cage is playing intelectual, Tucci is enjoying the free wine, Freeman is on crack, Firth and Waltz are thinking "What am I doing here?" and Sarsgaard is just quiet.

  • Nick Cage shut the hell up!

  • Christoph just observes and tries to add something real to the conversation but nicholas just sounds like he's rambling. Mr. Waltz, you, my friend, are a bingo! How fun!!!

  • CAGE=CUNT

  • ROFL!!! For the win.

  • Colin = 5 stars (intelligent, educated)

    Morgan = moron

Christoph = 5 stars (witted, skillful)

    N. Cage = idiot

    S. Tucci = has no idea what he is talking

  • Nicolas Cage looks like he is trying to be an intelectual:)) What an epic fail.

  • Christoph looks annoyed as hell at 1:40. Haha. He is just amazing though! He's a bingo! =D

  • Stanley is sexy! Christoph is adorable! Cage is kinda annoying! Colin is a class act!

  • Christoph Waltz is the best.

  • Boy, Cage is annoying as hell. Yeah Christoph, you're totally right at 1:40

  • Talking heads. Give me a table of writers over these idiots any day. Much more interesting conversation.

  • Why isn't Morgan Freeman wearing a suit? C'mon man!

  • These are actors debating if acting is an art. Um, Duh! That's why it's called Performing arts. I agree with Nic Cage.

  • this was the most pretentious, meaningless conversation I've ever witnessed

  • No he's not-he's just the biggest loudmouth.

  • Nicolas, shave the beard, it doesn't make you younger.

  • Ugh. This is awkward. Their facial expressions are art.

  • Hans Landa commands you to shut the fuck up Cage

  • YES!

  • the sad thing is cage is being genuine, he is not that smart, this is how he is socially

  • Ugh, omg. Cage needs to shut up, to be honest.

  • SHUT UP CAGE

  • Nic Cage?i dunno..I just dont really like him..that's all..i like the rest of them though.nothing personal..really

  • What is wrong with Nicholas Cage?!

And lol, when Christoph talks, it's as if it's too sophisticated for the rest to understand.

  • Nicholas Cage? really?

And yay for Christoph Waltz!!!!! <3

  • Christoph rubbing his face and was like ,"ohh...brother......"when NIc Cage kept talking...and talking...and talking...

  • HAHAHA, I know, it's like he didn't even TRY to be subtle about it.

I wonder if the two of them have had any conversation about The Green Hornet yet....*AWKWarrrrrrd....*

  • Who invited Nicolas Cage to this....?

  • @minoriteee That's what I would like to know! He's so full of himself!

  • Comment removed

  • Morgan Freeman and Chrisroph Waltz > Nic Cage.

  • What the hell is Nic Cage doing at this table? Dear God, is he ever out of his element.

And I laughed out loud at 1:40 when Christoph rubs his face as if to say, "Dear Jesus, what am I doing here....."

    Oh god, this is fantastic.......

  • LMAO. Poor Christoph....think of an excuse to escape Nick Cage!

  • He looks so bored! I feel bad for him

  • RUN, CHRISTOPH!

don't make excuses, just get the hell outta there, and rescue Stanley and Morgan too!

  • Shut up Nicholas Cage.Let Christoph talk. He's smarter than you.

  • there's live performance , and then there is the work/project an actor's performance ( and his fellow actors' performances as well ) is framed within. In film-especially- it further shaped and nuanced by the other artists/craftpeople involved... It isn't that acting is /isn't an art. It is that it is, ideally throughly ( not always easily) a collaborative art....t

  • I love these discussions between actors so much!
