My sister was diagnosed with this disease today, and is scheduled now for cimo-therapy and the rest of the program. Thank you for posting this, because up to this moment I was truly frighted for her simply because I knew nothing at all.
Im glad that ive found this, I have WG and have had it since January of 2000. it is a diease that you really need to learn about and find all information about it every chance you get. There is no know cures for WG , You just have to deal with it the best way you know how to and continue living your own life, so far I have survived WG and I will continue to, Patty, from Roseville, Ca
Thanks for posting this. I was told I was going nuts and having anxiety from the same docs that I had worked with for the past 8 years. Then I doc on a hunch of my previous uveitis and gluacoma did a few test. I have had a neg open lung biopsy and neg sinus biopsy but the labs and symptoms are there so we are still not sure. I have been on and off all the chemo type meds and still on prednisone daily.
I have this disease -- symptoms started late 2004, was diagnosed in 2007. I'm always looking for more info for this disease..thank you for posting this video. I think everyone should watch it.
Just wanted to post another comment. As a WG survivor I feel compelled to say how grateful I am to still be alive. However, while my disease is currently in remission I am FAR from healthy. My left lung is shot and will no doubt have to be removed in the near future. My Trachea is also narrowing like crazy. So the after effects of this disease will plague you even while your blood work shows your WG is in remission.
I was diagnosed in June 2000. Got a kidney transplant back in 2001. It's been a hell of a fight. Best wishes to you all.
