In a second class economy, all will go the way of the Tasmanian aboriginal and Thylacine. Hopefully Tasmanians themselves will soon sucumb to the survival of the fittest.
Survival of the fittest and a social Darwinist - this would be a total nightmare. It would give free reign for the strong to bully the weak, mega powerful corporations to exploit people and the environment, etc.
History never repeats... yes it does! It's 1982 all over again. I've been living on the 'mainland' for a long time, and can't you see that the rest of Australia sees Tassie as King Island cheese, ecotourisim, old world, and the beautiful place that deserves to be. This is madness Taswegians. From an expat who wants to attract people to our state and cares deeply!
To ignorant to learn from the past. This proposed pulp mill would be a hugely terrible thing to create. History shows me when I was there having a look at Queenstown one of Tasmania's big tourist attractions unfortunately they learnt a terrible lesson it shows the total destruction of the environment caused by mining ore and that they now benefit from that. When they should be holding the heads low.
