Despite all those people in the way, I'm still glad you turned out to film regardless; 6201 was going like a sewing machine, despite the late running (which we made up as we went along - arriving outside York about 30 or so minutes early!).

I was not sure where to go for this one and this was the third place I looked at,. Had I been there earlier and got to the other end of the platform there was a long approach shot and with all the steam was quite spectacular, but there was no room, already several photters. So it was make the best of it..

At least you got something Ralph, came out on the wrong platform for me at Edge Hill so got sweet F.A.!! As you say, just one of those days.
