You would not know he name right now if it was not for Gene and Paul. He will always be underground and does need marketing ploys to help sell albums outside of KISS.

It is hard to hear from ace yes but there is going to be a US tour and the upcomin Austrailian tour, he is coming to my town and I have tickets. I also have Kiss tickets for the summer so Im not saying Kiss is bad. It's just that when you listen to Ace's new album you can hear that he really put his heart into it. Sonic boom is good but I think the songs are good but I cant listen to the whole album just like that it gets booring for me. So Ace's Anomaly is better

Paul and Gene can go on and make good music but i think Ace is and was always the sounds behind Kiss.

Just remember Gene is just a Bass player and not much more when it comes to the music side of kiss.Paul is a god and i dont have anything bad to say about him.

There's actually an interview with Gene on youtube where he say's; I fired Ace & Peter because I didn't want them to overdose and die while on tour but he's lying, Ace Frehley quit the first time because he felt the band's direction wasn't the right one for them and he got tired of wearing the make-up and he said it was more like work and wasn't fun anymore.

Ace and Peter were the backbone of the classic Kiss sound. Peter's drumming and vocals rounded out a great sound, and of course Ace's guitar playing was so important to the musical edge for Paul and Gene's material, as well as all his own great Kiss era songs.

Gene and Paul are 'showmen" and added their part.

Like most great bands it took all four of those personalities and talents together at the right time to achieve what they did.

@MrJohnpex because they are not members today- they are part of the original 4-but not today they both negociated their contract/exit in early 80's.they both SOLD make up rights in 95-so they have NO SAY in how makeup is handled now.they both recieve royalties everytime a KISS lp that they were on sells.they even recieve porformance royalties when song that was authored by them is played live. in 96 they wern't goin to be brought inas FULL partners in a band that exsted without them 80-96.
