i really hope they upgraded the drift physics , yes it s possible in forza 2 , but it does have it s big flaws , you cant keep oversteering , i really hope they upgraded that , and wheater effects , no simulation without atliest rain , snow might be asking to much , and more in depth tuning , bigger paint system without the mistakes (i think you know what i mean if you paint cars), and more colour options , like optional colour for decal stickers , more colour options for the (outer,inner)rims!

start out with some thing with 400bhp then move up in power as you get better, try and stay away from upgrading to big turbos on as they give you lots of lag and can be difficult to get sideways if your struggling, also try not to over rev the car as still also makes it less controlable try to keep somewhere between 2500rpm and 5000 depending on the car. I got an awesome nissan 350z setup have a look at my videos and message me if you want it.

and most importantly , dont keep your diff to open , close it as much as possible , i see alot of players spinning out cuz theyre back is way to loose , you need grip to drift good and fast , you need to get the angle from oversteering , not a super lose back , and you want to bring the power down to the ground , not as thight as racing off course , but not to loose either !

it's easy to drift in this track with a RWD car. but what most people dont believe is that you can drift with no setup at all. i drift almsot everyday in forza 2 and all of my cars dont have setups. and they can get realy good angles and speeds.

In the game, drifting with FWD, takes more skill, cause the torque in there rear wheels kinda spin you out when you drift if you don't know how to, for AWD, apply the handbrake at the right speed, and it drifts very easily 0-0.

I think he was using the joystick, because I found it easier to drift with the racing wheel. When you use it, you can pretty much estimate the angle of the turn in your drift. You can turn it in to make the car drift around U-Turns, but on a joystick, it only gives you basic left and right, and that's when you don't drift as flawlessly as you do with the steering wheel. He did a pretty good job, but I do recommend that he tries that experience with the racing wheel. I think he'll find it easier.

the key is to give it a Scandinavian flick into the corner and keep track of your tire temperature and as the tires turn red on the little diagram u back off the throttle and just apply the required amount of opposite lock until your free and clear the tires regain grip.
