Hi,been watching since you began,keep it up!!im building an outside railway soon,can you help?As mine will be quite large circuit,how can you prevent Power drop?
Unfortunately power drop is going to be a problem with any large layout on DC. I don't seem to suuffer it on my layout but that could be because the layout is DCC which uses a form of AC converted to DC by the Decoder. I don't remember it being a problem before I converted to DCC though. One solution would be to run a set of Bus wires off the main power source and "tap" into it at various points along the layout (bit like a ring main)

It;s 00 gauge 4mm to the foot scale running round a circuit that is roughly 15feet square.

Always looking for updates on this garden railway and as usual never disapionts. Could we have some more steam hauled trains though please.
