Too many years of fast food, smoking ,and the partying in my younger years probably didn't help. You make a convincing argument. I just turned 50 and allways thought I was bullet proof ! That said I've found your videos informative. Looking at getting a Makarov sometime soon - just looking for the best specimen I can find for the money. We've got a lot of Century Arms CZ imports out there that don't look all that great but they're priced in the $300 price range.
@ChromeFreak123 Thanks - I've always been a fan of the Makarov but haven't touched one in about 6 years. The ones I've seen in the local gun stores (remember I am in Kalifornia) seem ok but look a little beat up.
So I'm not 100% sure what I want - but I've got a couple of other firearms I want first but when I do take the plunge on the Makarov I will mostly be concerned with serviceability over esthetics.
Anyway Ill let you know when I do and give you a full report.
@ClosedFormat They are very reliable little pistols. The finish leaves something to be desired, machine marks and what not but, for the price it is a pistol you can carry around and not worry about scratching or feel guilty about it.Thanks bro.

Have you ever tried getting on any anti-anxiety medication to help with stress? I used to take lexapro and it helped a lot. Although I'm not sure if you were talking about physical or mental stress, I'm not familiar with the nature of your job

I just did a echogram (stress test) this morning. Doc said it look fine, but they still have to read the video side of the test. My jaw hurt at night to the point it woke me up. If you have the symptoms get checked, you never know. Welcome back!!!!!
My favorite thing about the Makarov is the sweet holsters they have for them, the EFA-2 is what it's called. Great video, also very informational.
