I see you guys flying around pcb all the time and i think its amazing. Seeing you fly around all the time and watching these videos has definatelly goten me interested.
Delray Pilot the passenger signed a waiver because I was the one that witnessed it. in fact al pilots were required to sign waivers as well as passengers.
@yousef9002 I see you are form Tel Aviv… The noise you heard in Hiland Park was the Airplanes landing at the Airport!!! Located at the end of Baldwin & HWY 390 in 2009. Get your facts straight before you post Dodo Bird.

Wow where is that passengers helmet? That pilot should be banned from the sport for taking him low over water and without a helmet, how irresponsble can you get!
Sorry, I have to agree with Bob on this one guys (though I do hate that). Dell may be a fantastic pilot but he is also one of the biggest d#!kh?$ds in the sport. Taking a passenger up without a waiver, without a helmet, and flying within feet of a 12 story building and low over the water is no less than a wreckless act NO MATTER HOW GOOD YOU ARE as a pilot.
Unless you REALLY understand how to fly a paraglider. And you know how to use laminar coastal air and a lift band to remain airborne without a motor. Beach air is pretty much the most benign thing you can fly in. Let's stop all the BS judgment stuff and have fun. Great Video and Great Job John!
The only BS here is the notion that a high level of skill and familiarity with beach winds allows a pilot to take the life of someone else in his hands and break a handful of basic safety RULES. I don't need a lecture on beach air, I live in it.
I also flew Beach Blast 2009. It was great to meet everyone new to our beach and I hope you all come back next year! It as the best fly-in I've been to in years! Special thanks to Capt John Black. He did an amazing job putting this all together! You don't want to miss Beach Blast 2010!

^^^hahaha how would a helmet protect a passenger while flying low over the water or in any other case?
Man he's flying up in the sky, not riding a bike on a street!

@CaliFlyer Would you wear a helmet while riding a bike? If so; why?

Well, the passenger may be taking a risk, but as long as he UNDERSTANDS the risk, I don't see a problem with Dell...
