I visited there this morning and it was stunning. I've traveled around the world and this location is certainly among the top 5 placed I've been. It seems surreal from atop of the surrounding mountains. Go if you can
It's one of the most beautiful places ever and should be no. 1 priority for a visit to Lake Como. Although it has good coverage in the film where Bond is recovering , it is NOT the scene at the END of the film Casino Royale. That is at a different Villa on Lake Como.
Just a correction. This is not the villa that appears at the last scene of James Bond's Casino Royal. This is the place where Bond rests after being tortured, just on the lawn you show. The last sequence's location is Villa Gaeta, also in lake Como
It is the most beautiful house on the most beautiful location !
