  • Not bad, I remember doing the hid bulb swap the first time on my g coupe, only took me about 15 minutes total. Pretty easy if you ask me.

  • hey longjohn613, thanks for watching, i hope this video have help you save some time and money, because thats what i was feeling when i heard how much o.e.m h.i.d's cost, let me know if you need anymore info's on other things with the car ill do what i can to help, thanks again

  • Great video man, thanks. I had been putting off replacing the whole unit for my burnt bulb considering dealers want about 500 apiece, didn't realize changing just the hid was possible, but this looks pretty straightforward!

  • hey 111chevy111, thanks for watching my video, i hope it was easy for you to install the bulb

  • thanks for the great step by step video bro it really helped

  • I'm keeping the top hid's cause there oem/stock and have a blueish color yet i'm going to change the bottom portion which is the daylight time running light of the headlights to 6,000 k hids so they match the top hid's... :)

  • sorry i havent commented, problems with loggin in, but for turboguy327, its not a downgrade its a upgrade, with the 10ks its alot brighter everyone who put differnt h.i.d bulbs on there car should see the differnce, and plus the new bulbs have longer life, and theres no way im going to pay what the dealers want for o.e.m bulbs, after markets way better in my book, and better in the pocket book

  • U don't need to changed the balast at all cause everything works fine just the bulb oem needs to go that's all....

  • Did you use the same ballast?

  • @hyranthetaken

u could use the same ballast

  • sir u r the man ive been braking my head trying to get my bear claw hands into such a small space under the hood , but now it should b a sinch going under

  • How do you change the side markers???

  • @aycrowd101 its easy it comes right off. just use a flat head and pull it off

  • you dont have to take the wheels of if you cant do it.. just turn the wheel in the appropirate position and you will have room

  • Good review. Wish i would've had this for me friends g35 hid install. Thought you had to take off the front bumper. I noticed that you didnt use the aftermarket ballast that comes with the hid kit. Are they not necessary

  • How do you change the side strip lights that are IN the headlight itself?

  • Place new bulb into housing and clip it in then twist connector onto bulb.
