Very impressive. What an inspiration. Karate truly IS "lifelong training." I just discovered Master Kanazawa on here a few months ago. Now I am hooked. His katas are awesome, and so is his character. Does anyone know what "Kancho" means? Is that a nickname?
Kancho games played by kids have different kanji characters. Kancho of the kids game come from the medical word "enema" originally. 浣腸 different from 館長

I think "Kancho" means "supreme instructor" - a term to indicate that Kanazawa is the leading Shotokan Instructor.
Unfortunately "Kancho" is also a game played by Japanese children whereby they poke other people in the butt with their fingers!

Kan means house
Cho means master (or the head of the tribe)
Kancho together meaning the head of the house (style)
