I hate the goal horn. One of the worst recent trends in hockey. Are the arenas trying to drown out the noise of the fans?? They're even using it at the Olympics now. Watch the 2002 gold medal game highlights - no goal horn. You can actually hear the fans. So much better.

The audio on some of these makes them sound worse than they are. For example, the Sabres have one of the best sounding goal horns (not just saying that because I'm a Sabres fan), but it doesn't sound very good here. Search for "Sabres goal" or "Sabres horn" and listen to some better clips.
